I have been growing great on a two day split, i really should make a 3rd day for legs but i just work them in with my other upper body days, i would go 3 if i had time but its hard enough for me to make 2 days a week, but so far so good.

Mon - Back/Bis/Fores/Abs
Tues - Chest/Delts/Tris
Wed - Legs/Abs
Thurs - Back/Bis/Fores/Traps
Fri - Chest/Delts/Tris
Sat - Legs/Abs
Sun - Off

I usually go heavier the first three days with low reps and lighter with higher reps the last three days. Seems to work great for me while bulking as I gain weight really easily.
 
I switch off ever 2 weeks between a 4 and a 5 day...

5 days :

1- Chest / Biceps
2- Back / Calves
3- Delts / Abs
4- Biceps / Triceps
5- Thighs / Calves

3on/1off rotation, on average, so that's training 5.25 days a week :D

This way, both my biceps and my calves get trashed a couple times a week.

How are you doing on that split JonesersRX7? Personally, I doubt it would work, it seems so lopsided to me :
Legs takes all I have, I'd have nothing left for shoulders.
Chest and Back is a LOT for one workout, to me.
Bis and Tris seems a piece of cake compared to the rest.

And... Do you take 4 days off per week?
 
uhhhggg... I’m an ecto that is struggling to get bigger, reading these splits is kind of discouraging, making me want to change mine, but not knowing what to do.



i seem to get good strength out of

mon legs

tue chest

wed back

thu arms

fri shoulders



Would a rest between back and arms help me out?
