Oh yeah, I didn't even know those were commonly available! Who sells spiro? It's a good diuretic too if you could get it cheap enough to use orally. I've never personally used fluridil, but it would be perfect for this application. A lot of antiandrogenic progestins could work too like MPA, prog and 11a-OH-prog when used topically.

MPA=Medroxyprogesterone Acetate: It's a tried and true antiandrogen. It may have too great of systemic absorbtion if applied topically.

Progesterone: It's got good AR affinity and could establish competitive inhibition of androgen binding. Systemic absorption wouldn't hurt too bad, the halflife is very short. The 11-OH version is just a designer form to reduce intrinsic progestational activity yet enhance receptor affinity.

I don't know if any commercial progestin based formulas are out there, but they sell prog cream at the healthfood store for other applications.

I think topical tretinion may work too, as would other retinoids possibly. I still have my hair, so I suspect it helps.
