Recomp can be done but unless you are running significant doses of anabolic steroids or you are 15 its really tough. Even with the best supplements.
As such, I would suggest always eating less when cutting and eating more when gaining. And, not trying to do both at the same time. Its just unproductive and since you are spending your hard earned cash on supps you should take full advantage.
Now, this doesnt mean you have to get super fat when growing or starve yourself to death when cutting.
Just start with a modest caloric deficit. If you dont see any progress....add or subtract calories every week until you see movement.
For example:
Lets say you want to lose. Cut out 500 calories per day.
If you want to grow, add 500.
If you start losing too rapidly or getting soft. Adjust by 200 cals. up or down. Once things stall, Drop or add another 500. Generally you wont need to get to 1000 cal deficit. 500 actual cal deficit is generally enough unless you are massively overeating presently.
Drop some cals.
Cut out sugar.
Move a bit more and train hard. take the stack. You will be surprised how well it works.
