When your on a limited income ten chicken breasts a day is not an option. Protein, it will make you or break you as a bodybuilder, it CAN be all that keeps you on the "safe" side of the overtraining line. Tryin' to shed that winter fat, anyone will tell you, drop carbs (xcept post trainin') and UP that PROTEIN. Sounds easy enough, but not if you're already tapped for cash. Everyone finds different ways to meet their daily requirements based on what they have to spend, here are my main sources. Post yours too!
-skim milk (from powder, add it to shakes) $.09, 8.5g protein
-Egg whites (buy bulk flats) $.75/35g protein (10 whites)
-Whey protein $.60-$.85/25-30g protein per scoop
-Tuna $.60, 30g protein per can
-Chicken breast (boneless skinless, on sale) $1.05, 25g protein
