I can testify to this. If you look at the sleep apnea chart two of the 3 biggest factors that make it likely for you to get sleep apnea is 1. a big neck and 2. being male.18" or a little more. If you have a big neck go see a sleep doctor if you are having sleep issues. Might be at risk for sleep apnea.
20.5" neck currently. I gotta keep it big cause Im in the military and over on my weight (max weight 186, current weight 215), so I get body fat tested. Waist circumference minus neck circumference = vale. Take that value, bounce it off your height and you get your BF%. Rudimentary I know; but it keeps me at around 15% according to them, so I get left alone being "over weight". Also, I dont have any problems sleeping.
He should have given the measurement in metric if he wanted to be more scientifically accurate.The military so scientific haha.
