How strong are you??

Buki, how old are you? You're one of those guys that look like you could be anywhere from 24-34?

i'm not sure if thats good or bad.

Turning 31 in April.:dump: But that does mean i still have 10-15 years till my strength peaks :twisted:

It's a good thing I guess. I would've guessed 28, so you look 3 years younger than you are. I expect you to be deadlifting 900 @ 46 years old.

yeah the last time i maxed(i was 18) i got 410(should have tried 415) failed 420 half way up, but i think i can get about 435 now.

Very impressive at 19 years old. You could be a monster by the time you're 25. How's your squat and deadlift?

i stopped doing squats a little while ago and i never really got into deads that much my best squat was 515 and my best dead was 375x8.

but i think i can get them up pretty easy if i give them a little more attenion.

you should.

i def. gonna try to hit near 600 by the end of the year. i think i have enough size in my legs, (29 1/2) i havent really lifted like a powerlifter for squats and deads, so far ive pretty much kept it at 8 reps and higher, but once i start doing triples im sure my maxes will soar...

i am 186lbs at 5'11

Bench 285x1
225x12 {i dont know why my max is so weak. Someone give me some advice on how to gain on max}

Deadlift 400x3
Stiff Leg Deadlift 355x1
Squat 365x3 { healing MCL]
Sled {700ish}
Barbell Curl {135x5}
Hammer curls never maxed {workout with 60s}
Tri Pulldowns {3x10 200lbs}
Dips {52 slow reps

6 months ago i only bench maxed 175x1. I have came a long way on all natural supps.

52 dips is pretty impressive. I've done 37 before at my current, and I was winded as fvck. Didn't want to do anything else after that.

thats a big jump in numbers. how long have you been training? care to list the supps you used along the way? how much weight gain during those 6 months?

I'll see what I can achieve after some more time in the gym. I'm on a cut now, but I'm trying to maintain strength...

Dumbell Flat Bench - 100 x 6
Dumbell Shoulder Press - 80 x 10
Hammer Dumbell Curls - 55 x 8
Squat - ?
Clean and Press - Practicing form after a long hiatus
Deadlift - ?
Pullups - WEAK
Dips - 24 right now, but trying for more...

Not sure how my shoulder press is aout as strong as my dumbell chest press, but my chest has always lagged. Genetics.

Bench press Don't do it(last time I did it was two years ago 300 was my max)

Inclined 245-6x's.

Deadlifts 405(maybe more havnt maxed in a while and dont know if Im going to I like reps at a heavy weight)

Squats 300 ass touching floor. done 405 parrell or close to.

Leg press 6 plates each side for 6 last time at gym

Piston Pump. I have gained around 20-25 lbs all together. I started with just BSN NO-Explode and a pure protein diet in September. Thats when i shot out of the roof. I gained like 10lbs in a week. I was an all state running back two years ago but i was never very big. I tried playing college ball in D3 a year or so ago, but i was stupid and came home. So, before i try it again. i wanted to get as big and cut and fit as possible. I started with sets of 155. As i took the No explode i felt a gain each week. By week 3 i was at 205. Then i tried NaNo Vapor and Nitro-tech Hardcore. I was intaking around 350gs of protein per day for a month with the No-Product, lifting 5 days per week on a split body routine. I was up to 180lbs on month 2. After that i took ON Whey, Animal Stak and Pak, MRI Anabolic Switch, Mass Tech weight gainer, Cell Tech Hardcore, ALR Wtf Pumpd, All the protein you can think of. I got the most gains on Cell Tech. On the month i was on that "month 3 and 4" i went from 225x4 to 225x12 and 240 max to a 285ish max. I have good stamina with 225 but i think i burn myself out before i max. I guess creatine just had a great effect on me. I love it when people ask if im roidin, because i know i have did it all with hard work. im a HARD GAINER lol

thanks for the response penn, you must respond very well to creatine. Those are awesome gains to be proud of with hard work and non steroid aided. Much props. Keep it up and youll be running through linebackers and burning the backs!

Someone made a trip to the cornerstore GNC... Those are some solid gains man.

What do you mean by pure protein diet? Nothing but protein? Like, just all shakes and $#!+?

Bench press 420

Incline 375

Dumbell bench never done it

Curl bar curls 200x6 cheat a little

Hammer Curls (dumbell) ?

Straight bar curls 175x?

Tricep pushdowns ?

Deadlifts 480

Squats 515

Leg press 835x5

Back pull downs ?

Cable rows (back) ?

hmm it seems ive already posted in here before...i dont remember that $#!+ @ all! LOL

Thanks Piston Pump. Force of Green. My "pure protein diet" was literally ALL protein for a month or so. I would eat around 8 loaded Peanut butter sandwhiches a day. Along with 2 or 3 servings or tuna and chicken breast. 3 whey protein shakes "morning, pre workout, before bed and whey isolate protein before bed. It was a rough diet. The key is not to run at all. Just hit the abs as hard as you can to keep you in decent shape, and the gains will come. Creatine is very overated in my opinion. I actually think 2/3s or my gains came from the diet change.

Sounds pretty cool man... hey if it works and you can do it, do it up! Try your peanut butter sandwiches with Ezekiel bread and be sure to get in atleast 5 servings of veggies and some fruit.

I like the way I feel without breads, pasta, rice (yes WITHOUT RICE) sugars, oats, diet soda, and dairy.

I am now eating basically Ezekiel products (sprouted grain bread and cereal), chicken, red meat, veggies, fish, shellfish, Goat Whey, nuts, and a few other things. I'm learning to listen to my body, but not to my cravings.

i never liked veggies. Thank god for V8 Splash
Good stuff.

Definitely check into a 'superfoods' product though if you're not getting any veggies or fruits. V8 Splash tastes good, and it may have some good juice concentrates, but like most processed foods it lacks important phytonutrients, anti-oxidants, and is usually mostly fortified with synthetic vitamin sources.

Superfood products will give a good spectrum of these missing links in the proportions found in nature.

Also, be advised of bad breath caused by anaerobic bacteria. Brush your teeth very often, as proteins in your mouth that decompose in an anaerobic matter will leave you with breath of a parched camel.

Force is Super food products a brand? sold in walmart? and most grocery stores

I buy v8 low sodium. so your saying this doesnt have antiox's phelophs(sp) ?

I like V8 low sodium as well. That's definitely a better choice for nutrients than diet V8 Splash. Splash tastes good and is refreshing, but it's mostly water and natural flavors with fractions of vitamins added to equate to the minimal RDA.

Any superfoods product, whether it's Green Lightning, Red Lightning, Super Greens, Green Magma, Rainbow Lightning... most likely has a very high content of the phytonutrients, natural vitamins (surplus), and other miscellaneous trace minerals that will give you a noticably better quality of life when consumed regularly.

I was thinking of starting my morning with a whole-foods type shake consisting of organic hemp protein, barley grass extract, chlorophyll, and spirulina with some frozen blueberries.

.

Unfortunately no, they're powdered formulas found in health food stores, nutrition stores, or Wholefoods... Wegman's... They're like those Miracle Greens and Miracle Reds that Nutraplanet has.
