How much protein do you take after your workout?

1.5xLBM vs 1xLBM made an incredilbe difference for me, of course the extra .5 per LB replaced carbs. When I'm bulking I go to 2xLBM, if I did that with Carbs I would be at 300lbs with no additional LBM

Pre is waaaaaaaay more important than post.

I take in around 50 to 60 for both (when I don't screw around....)

Usually whey with skim milk and oats or bagel or whole wheat english muffin.
I've been on an english muffin kick lately.

Yeah but in that line of thinking a post workout shake would be part of a steady intake of protein. I don't believe anyone is suggesting post workout protein and nothing through out the day.

I agree that it could be used as a part of that, and that no one is suggesting that post workout is the only protein source. However, he is seeking a special amount of protein specifically for post workout. Truth is, there is none. Taking some massive amount of whey protein is going to cause a spike in blood nitrogen levels, which isn't going to do anything of value to your body. What I meant by my post is that you should try to take in about the same amount of protein at eat meal, to maintain a positive nitrogen balance. Anything more than that is just going to piss off your kidneys.

I have lately been putting 2 scoops of unflavored whey into Orange Gatorade for postworkout. The total protein of both scoops is like 44 grams of protein.
