I did legs today and at the end of my routine I noticed something I haven't in a while. My shirt was completely drenched with sweat, and no one else in the entire friggen place was even "shinny". I didn't run before doing legs our anything, that's just me, I sweat everyday during my routines but I never see anyone else. Not even most of the bigger guys, what's up? am I just a freak sweater, or are these people not even trying when they go to the gym.

So just wondering how much do you guys sweat just by doing your weight routine?

Some people are just sweaters. I myself don't sweat much when lifting until I do cardio and then seem to turn into a wet rag.

leg = most sweat for me because of the major compound movements, ie squats and deads. chest day is probly low to no sweat. armpits dont count cuz mine sweat all fukin day

When I was younger I used to have a training partner who made me put a towl down for each of my sets. Lol i used to get so perinoid about spotting people cause I didnt want to drip on them.

certain lifts and days i sweat a lot.......squats i sweat the most...shoulders i dont' sweat but for some reason i start to shrug and the sweat comes

my gym is a sweat box in the summer too so i sweat during warm ups which i hate, the humid air really kills your endurance

This shows how many don't do a solid warmup before lifting. You should have a nice sweat going before your first rep.

I was doing upper body workouts yesterday. When I finished doing my benching and got off of the bench, I had a nice puddle of sweat on the bench. Not wetness, but straight up puddle.

I sweat a lot when I'm " juiced" up. Other then that my xsport keeps it pretty cool inside so I'm not sweating that bad

To be honest I don't really beleive in warming up, other than doing two or three warmup sets at the begining of my routin. I think things like pre stretching and cardio before routines really sucks your strength. I tend to follow a lot of mentzers beliefs when it comes to lifting.

What do you consider a solid warm-up?

This depends on the training session, but pre-hab of the joints/muscles, dynamic stretching, and a cardiovascular portion.

Here's what I'll be doing today before I squat:
Foam rolling/MFR
Dynamic stretching
Static stretching
Sled drags
Light plyos

This usually takes 15-20 minutes and helps with recovery and performance.

If I don't get sweaty...totally drenched between lifting and cardio, I don't even consider it a good workout!

Damn...
