How Much do you spend ?

Rocket3015

Legend
I just paid my Credit Card Bill and Last Month I spent $ 321.90 on supplements. How Much do you spend.....Not sure if this will be fun or depressing ??

Way too much. 2 g's in the past 3 months building up a ph stash. Normally 100-150 every 2 months for staples. Thank god for electronic bill statements. Don't think my wife would fall for the "it's just creatine" excuse. Lol.

I only buy supplement maybe a couple times a year, but when I do it's usually a fairly large order, like 100-200 dollars

Only thing I buy is protein and that usually lasts me two months. So, $30?

Last year maybe 200

Years before that... Too much

This year ive tried to keep it around 100 a month, last year when PHs were still legal I cant even begin to estimate. Seems like I was always stocking up on support stuff and hitting sales.

I get suckered into buying the pretty and shiny packages!!!

Protein is food, that doesn't count as supplement $.... At least that's how I justify it lol

For those that buy supps every month, why not just stock up when you see a deal? Or if it is a staple, for me vitamin d ,c, fish oil, probiotic, and multi, why not buy multiple at once to save on shipping charges?

For me...

1. I won't have 60,90,12£ free each month so I just buy 1.
2. Luckily my gym sells the protein, no shipping :)

<100. Normally just get vitamin d3, Curcumin and a pre workout lol

Spend around $800 a month on quality food. Grass fed and free-range meat and eggs, fresh seasonal vegetables.
Supplements, nothing outside fish oil and whey... Maybe a little gears but none of these ridiculous cycles people tend to gravitate to like their Boston loyd. Supplements in general are an effing con.

Usually no more than 200€ a month. Stamples are: Conqu3r,Vital1ty and Orange Triad. Sometimes i add 1 2 bottles of phs or natty anabolics

I stock up on protein when there is a insider deal or something like that. My normal supplement I will buy a years worth at a time when my favorite stone has Buy one Get one Free.

depends really. I haven't been buying much at all as of late, most of the time i like to save up and order in bulk because supplements here are stupid expensive. and it's smarter to buy online, from bulk sources, and take advantage of sales. or order from US retailers and do slower shipping, better brands and better products.

Monthly i spend around 50-80 mattering the month and what i have going on. i put food and other needs before supps in my budget

To much. The reps here make every product sound amazing

What I was trying to say was it sounds like people are really holding back if you compare some of the posts in those new product/sales threads to the posts in this thread.

I was too afraid to quote my expenditure in the past lol
If people tallied just what I shared here it was 1-2k yearly

Being blessed with rep positions, it is now barely an expense

I guess this doesn't include pharmaceuticals? As for supplements? Melatonin, creatine, glutamine and taurine are often in there. And I like to run injectable glutathione, l-carnosine when I have spare cash.

If Im honest, a percentage of my supplement purchases are non-rational. My method of determining a rational purchase from a non-rational one is simple: how defensible is the purchase if my wife were to question it?

Definitely wasn't the easiest thing explaining to my gf why I bought a tub of lecithin granules but saying it was under 10 bucks helped

Helpful hint: next time also blow 500$ on assorted anabolics, that way your 10$ granule purchase wont look so bad.

Pre workouts I love. Always have one or two on hand. Then mostly health related supplements or brain supplements.

I dont buy any natural anabolics generally as they dont coincide with my goals (performance more than anything).

I rely on whey protein enough in my diet that it blurs the line between supplement and food. I go through 8lbs. per month, easily. I buy soon-to-be-expiring whey, but it still costs me $50 per month.

I have consciously bought supplements in the past with the intention of using it for placebo effect and still had the placebo effect work. That's my rationalization for costly continued experimentation.

In truth, I'm going to plow any money I was spending on supplements that I can't afford into more effective aids like SARMs that I still can't afford. That's progress!
