Taking the discontinued Primeval Labs Tri-Sarm Ostarine 10mg, S4 (Ostarine) 10mg and LGD-4033 5mg, I'm 3 weeks into the cycle and had taken it a cycle earlier in the spring. I am in my mid 40's and here is what I am experiencing:
Pros:
1. During the first couple of weeks I get power and feel no burning pain when doing a set to failure. It is amazing to work out without the burning pain. I can be on the 14th rep and I can feel the muscles starting to fail but there is no burning pain. This happened in my first cycle as well. In my 3rd week I am feeling a bit of burning when deep into a set.
2. Gained some strength although not as much as I did in the first cycle when I also took creatine
3. Weight did not change in the first 3 weeks although the body feels a bit tighter around the waist which is good. Was hoping to loose some weight but I haven't changed my diet. I think that some fat has been replaced by muscle so I am keeping this point in the pros.
4. I am not experiencing hair loss, sex drive changes or even impaired vision.
5. Back pain from a herniated disk in my mid back has gone down to a negligible level. This is a big positive for me as I've been dealing with this pain for 10 years. It is at a low enough level to be able to live with and not have surgery. I found that this tri-sarm almost makes it go away.
Cons:
1. Lethargic, lazy, brain and body shuts down, all I want to do is sleep. Worth noting is that if I work up the nerve to get to the gym I feel pretty good in the workouts, not sleepy then. But by the time I get home at 6PM I can go crash for the whole night. And by 10am the next day I am sleepy again.
2. Others mentioned that they recoup faster, I haven't found that to be the case. I find that the tri-sarm helps with bones/joints but not with muscle pain. I pulled my right bicep in the first week of this cycle and it is still bothering me. I had hoped it would heal faster. I've been really careful with it so as to not make it worse and luckily I haven't damaged it even though I've started training arms and triceps. I do extended warm-ups on the arms, stretching and so on but I am disappointed that I haven't seen a quicker healing.
I think I will stop my cycle because of being sleepy and lethargic. I basically can't think at work and my weekends kinda go to waste. I think I'll get back on a creatine cycle and maybe take a tri-sarm occasionally with lower doses.
