Holy **** **** microsoft

Jayhawkk

Legend
Every week I can view and download less and less crap with more errors. Trying to install adobe acrobat reader from their official website and I can't do anything but click through 1000 pop ups.

Hee, Hee, you hit me in another soft spot, I'm antimicrosoft as well!
Once you go Mac, you never go Back! (1991 for me)

Really? Firefox only gave me a problem with one site, but that was not a big deal to me. Are you using anti-spyware/anti-adware progs?

The problems are mostly due to conflicting programs trying to run. MS keeps adding in crap that's automatic and it's really pissing me off.

Well as far as pop-ups go, I know IE is terrible at controlling them. What didn't like about Firefox? I very rarely get pop-ups with FF.

FF itself was great. I just had a driver issue with Nero a few weeks back that caused me to format the hard drive and I just didn't reinstall FF. Now i remember why I downloaded it to begin with.

Went through that Adobe/ie crap just 2 days ago. I'm still recovering. Almost ended up going to the libray to get my $h1t done. Damn, that vein in my forehead is throbbing again...

Gotta agree with the Mac. Costs a bit more, but damn, it's a sweet ride. I miss a few of the controls on Windows..but NOT that much! lol

you need to turn off the auto update, it causes as many problems as it solves. Firefox is a good option though, macs would not be my first choice.

Yeh I guess that would be confusing being able to boot into XP or OSX, sometimes less is les...I mean more. lol, just poking, not looking to start a pc/mac war.

I'll leave this thread now so Jay can get some help, instead of Basso's foolish prodding.
