HIT4ME Pushing The Envelope With Evolutionary Muse

Your incredibly long post is just one of the reasons I love you HIT4ME! When I try to lose weight I just work on not eating crap and cutting back on beer and Margaritas. You have this whole intellectual response that is over my head!!

Glad you're back my friend. And I will be starting my cut in about another week

Lol, hardly over your head. Don't sell yourself short my brother. I just have a lot more questions than some people...I don't really KNOW much.

Haha, yeah. I sucked it up the first time around, which is unfortunate after I was given the awesome evomuse stack. Maybe dsade will send me more....

And I let you down....didn't show you the craziness I promised. Life got in the way, and all the other excuses.
I got fat too lol don't worry. I'm down 6lbs in a week tho somehow...

Being fat is like a curse. I'm now attempting for the zillionth time to cut, I'm even doing cardio, can you imagine?

Sometimes I think surgery is less expensive and quicker...

And all you fackers yaking away while I'm slaving away at work! Ought to be some kind of law

****ing aful looking in the mirror and seeing the gains vanish and then stepping on the scale and being the same weight
Oh no, that's not good. Get back on track.
Have that surgery sh1t coming up too. I'll lay in a hospital bed doing incline curls while knee surgery, I swear!

Let's be honest you live in bananaland you may not make it out of the OR. Rusty knives and surgery do not go well together ;)

Good luck, I said I'd be doing squats, that's a big ****ing nope from me lol shut ****ing hurts. Basically anything you do hurts for a long ass time

Yep, I'm a bit concerned. Would do it myself but nobody wants to hold the mirror. ;)

Are you using some peptides and low dose deca ? I know I would!
Some tramadol from the vet too. Don't ever get depressed! Come on soldier!

Yeah I've been running BPC every day. It helps but not as much as you'd think

It takes time, no magic here.
Use it with PEG-MGF, will accelerate healing!
I'd use collagen pills too and low dose deca for collagen synthesis. Just a thought.

College has gotten me fat to brother

Yeah...you think COLLEGE gets you fat? Wait until you get out of college, get a job and bills and have to sit at a desk, in a car, in meetings all day. And then you work your butt off to pay bills and at the end of the day you're so exhausted you just wanna curl up in a ball, eat ice cream and watch tv. The physical activity you do for FUN right now will seem like WAY TOO MUCH WORK in 5 year or less. haha.

I put on probably 10lbs because of surgery. I weigh the same but I've lost a lot of muscle so I know my ass got hella fat

Well, ok, I can't pick on you for having surgery.

Being fat is like a curse. I'm now attempting for the zillionth time to cut, I'm even doing cardio, can you imagine?

Yeah man, that's life. Sometimes you get in a groove and you get it on lock down, sometimes it just doesn't get started. It's hard to stop making excuses, raise our standards, and just get the job done. Plus, as I get older, I realize that my all-or-nothing mentality has it's good and bad. It can be draining to go all out, and then you hit a wall and you can't do it so you're back to nothing - but on the other hand when I'm in the zone, I'm in the zone and sh1t is going to get serious.

While I've been eating like shizzle lately, I've been trying to pay attention to what is psychological vs. physiological and I think there are some really hard distinctions here that may not play out as we expect. Throw environment in as a third factor and things are really confusing. It's amazing we can lose weight at all, haha.

****ing aful looking in the mirror and seeing the gains vanish and then stepping on the scale and being the same weight

Yeah...getting fat stinks. The good news is, you can do something about it.

Today's Weigh In:

Bodyweight: 191.8 pounds
Bodyfat %: 24.4%

Um - 2 days ago I was 186.2 and 22% bodyfat. While I haven't been eating well, I've been eating OK. I HAVE been playing with complex carbs a little over the past few days, so maybe that's it. I expect that as I lock the diet back down I will get back to 186 pretty quick. I seem to be in homeostasis around 186-188 for the past couple months.

So, a lot of days I make a shake in the morning with coffee, coconut oil, cocoa powder and protein powder. I may have a similar shake in the afternoon. It's just convenient when I'm busy. Sometimes it leaves me feeling very full, sometimes it doesn't seem to work. Typically I just kind of naturally avoid carbs when I'm eating "well" - but if I get sugars in my diet things get way out of hand (another sign of insulin resistance I believe - at least in theory). But because I normally focus so much on protein, I don't include many carbs that are "planned" when I am locked in on a diet. It isn't that I try to go low carb, I just don't pay attention and don't "insert" carbs with any meaningful intent.

Well, I've been taking 1/4 cup of rolled oats with my shakes. I just measure them and eat them right out of the measuring cup dry. The small amount of complex carbs, small amount of MCT fats, and good dose of protein leaves me feeling like I'm full - actually, I feel FAT. Like my body is saying, don't eat anything else, you're a fat mutha. If I do get hungry, something very small (like a slice of cheese) is bringing that felling of fatness right back. This is unusual for me and hard to explain.

Also, since doing this and including the berberine (and hopefully getting better control over insulin spikes) - I've noticed that I have MUCH more energy late in the afternoon. Normally I drag and have low motivation around 2-4 PM. Yesterday I went to my dad's house around 5:30 and he actually mentioned that I seemed "full of energy" - and I hadn't taken any stimulants. Nighttime snacking seems to be coming under control again too. This is all hard to say what is psychological vs. physiological here. And it isn't like this is a new discovery - insulin spikes are an important factor in diet - but knowing something and actually doing it are two different things.

Given that I'm starting to feel a little better, I'm going to try to either run on the treadmill or ride the bike for a bit later tonight. The goal is to keep the exercise reasonable, and the caloric deficit fairly reasonable for a bit - at least reasonable for my standards. So far today I've had 3/4 cup of oats, 2 scoops or whey, 2 tbsp coconut oil, 4 tbsp cocoa powder, 2 slices of sliced turkey, and 2 slices of swiss cheese. Not exactly a locked in diet yet, but lower calories than most. I'd say about 1050 calories and only about 75 g protein. Pretty much all of my carbs were from rolled oats.

Haha - and since we're talking about insulin and diabetes, etc. - take a look at these two confusing pieces of re:

Just a quick update. I haven't had time the last couple days to do much on here. I have done 2 workouts and I have been playing around with carbs and such and trying to figure out how my body responds, and this has actually caused me to gain weight, although a couple days had some off-diet eating also (A lunch and a spaghetti dinner). I am falling victim to all kinds of mental issues that I always try to point out to others. The reason I point them out is because, as you can see, I have a tough time with them myself!

1. I've been attacking this without a defined plan. I haven't written out my strategy, just kind of going by the seat of my pants and I need to sit down and write out a diet plan and be prepared.

2. I've been focused on carbs and insulin, and I've been over thinking. Back to the basic laws of thermodynamics - energy in vs. energy out.

3. I weighed 193 this morning!! I try to get back at this and now I'm in the hairygrandpa camp. I keep trying to start, but getting in the mindset is really a challenge when life is going full force.

I hear you HIT4ME... it's def a b1tch going back to counting kcals and meal prep when going back to cutting. I feel burned on it myself. There was a span of 18 months were I'd log everything I ate in my calorie counter app... lol I would actually count almonds and put in 14 almonds haha

I just started getting serious about my diet again around 2 weeks ago and have dropped 6 lbs and my strength is going up. I've been carb cycle, which I've never done before but am really a big fan of it!!! I'm also taking Slinmax, Follidrone, Forskolin and Tr1umph daily... on my rest days I'm doing fasted steady state cardio with Yohimbine HCL and caffeine.

I lift 3 days in a row then take a rest day. My carb intake on weight lifting days is between 120-180g carbs.

On rest days, after the morning cardio I'm in ketosis and keep carbs below 50gs. Anyway, it's keeping me from feeling bloated at least.

I know your a knowledgeable guy and have prob tried everything but IF you haven't carb cycled you really should try it. The Tr1umph is also making my muscles feel full while in this deficit... anyway I thought I'd share

mmorso - I am impressed. 6 pounds in 2 weeks is impressive. I played with carb and calorie cycling in November but it was not serious enough. I will lay out my plan over the next couple days and I may take that advise and apply it.

I don't have a TON of time to update this, so here are the highlights:

Wednesday I hit 3 x 425 on dead. I hit 5 x 425 a few weeks back...That is my PR. Last week I was down to 2 x 425.

On Friday I hit 3 x 295 on squats. I hit 2 x 295 on Monday. This doesn't sound like much, but I am doing it after a drop set of leg extensions to failure 3x and then super set to squats with no rest.

Yesterday I hit the treadmill. I want to increase my cardio but keep it reasonable. I want to build up and not push too hard like I did in October. I just did 30 minutes and went about 2.3 miles, burned about 260 calories.

This morning I did 45 minutes in the treadmill, after waking up, fasted with 8 mg of AlphaBurn rauwolscine. Made it about 3.8 miles, burned 470 calories per the treadmill but 620 on the Fitbit. I believe the treadmill.

I was thinking about it and a lot of advise you read suggests having a 500 Cal deficit in your diet each day and adding in 500 cals of exercise each day, which will burn 2 pounds a week in theory.

I am thinking if averaging 750 cals of exercise a day for the next 6-8 weeks and shooting for a 750 Cal deficit in diet. This should give me 3 pounds a week weight loss. I am thinking some days will be easier to exercise than others...So I may cycle the exercise to allow for recovery and to accommodate timing. This means that calorie cycling may also be a good strategy.

Fitbit today has me at just over 3200 cals.

I had a beef jerky stick (80 cals, 10 g protein), a piece of protein cake which I made as an experiment (was hoping for a brownie...Turned out to be cake without frosting) and this cake was made with 1/4 cup egg beaters, 1/4 cup almond milk, 1 scoop vanilla select protein, 1 tbsp cocoa, 2 packets Splenda, 1/4 tbsp baking soda and 1 tbsp coconut oil -totalling 285 cals, 32 g protein, 16 g fat). Then I had another beef jerky stick. Tonight I had an omelette with 1 cup egg beaters and 3 oz cheese, and a bag of broccoli which I decided to throw another oz. Of cheese (625 cals, 65 g protein). Right under 1100 calories and only 110 g protein. Right around a 2,000 calorie deficit for the day.

Carb cycling is what I will be doing as well in about 3 weeks. I think it's what I will do when on my full cut as well. I liked it when I tried it last.

I just bought a couple bottles of Absolutely Abliterated... hopefully I start losing more off the gut

Starting mine Monday. Abliderated, Assass1nate, Sup3r 7 and Bloodshred. Kitchen sink method to cutting

Guess he's not trying everything but the kitchen sink, must have not worked. He's going last resort...

Last resort would be voluntarily self infection with tapeworms while supplementing with crystal meth, LOL

SFreed you should try Forskolin!! Nutriverse has a BOGO on Forslean. This is gonna be a staple sup for me

I've used it before, and actually still have a full bottle of PES F95. Might change things up a after 4 weeks and run it alongside some OG Alphamine. Honestly I'm not real comfortable running 6 different things at the same time.

After learning a bit more about GLUT4 and understanding that in basic terms - I think carb cycling may be pretty smart.

Everyone I've seen use AA has loved it.

Hardly the kitchen sink. I think that's a pretty decent stack. I personally think DCP/Assass1nate would be very interesting. 7-KT and Forskolin are on my short list of worthwhile ingredients for fat loss, so adding those in to any stack, for the most part, is usually a good thing.

Maybe dsade should come out with a new product: Gut UNhealth.

Forslean is awesome.

Keep in mind - you're talking a single ingredient. Most of the products you are using have multiple ingredients already :) Live on the edge!! You're a wild and crazy guy!

As for me : Weighed in at 191.6 this morning. 24.9% bodyfat. My hips are sore and hurting. I've been having some nagging issues for the past couple months. Guess I'm almost 38 so I'm getting old.

Issue #1 - I have some pain in my right shoulder/arm. It's a very strange situation. I can do bench presses, military presses, side laterals, bent over laterals, face pulls, press downs, just about anything and my shoulder doesn't hurt. I can push as much weight as normal, go all out, no issues at all. The ONLY exercise that even has any discomfort at all is dumbbell flyes. But when I fall asleep, I often put my right arm over my eyes and when I do that I can feel pain in my rear delt/tricep area. It's hard to determine if it's actually a delt issue or a tricep issue. I drive around in my car and take photos of places all day long though, and often, I will be driving by and put down the passenger window, stick my arm straight out to my side to get the camera out the passenger window and click my photos - and I've found that just putting my arm out like this, especially early morning, and turning my hand at all can cause pain. It isn't debilitating, but noticeable. Still, lifting itself causes no pain. I guess it's a photo taking injury, haha. hairygrandpa is gonna ask how girly I can get.

#2 is that I've been having hip pain. It's on the outside of my hip area, and goes straight down the side of my leg. It doesn't hinder my exercises, but I do feel it while doing squats. Again, it doesn't effect performance at all it seems. Other than squats, no noticeable discomfort lifting weights. On this one, research indicates it may be trochanter bursitis. The description of this issue, especially the pain when negotiating stairs or after long periods of sitting, fits the issue I have to a T. The only issue I DON'T have is that I can lay on it without any discomfort. Running can CAUSE this issue, so the treadmill may not be the best option, but it actually seemed to help a little over the weekend as I felt I was making some healing progress and it was loosening up a little.

Ironically, the fact that I was feeling I made progress in clearing up the issue led me to try to do more 'rehab' and I grabbed a baseball (I don't have a foam roller) and rolled around on it. At first, as expected, this hurt like heck. But the pain became bearable pretty quickly. What I DID find was that if I rolled just above my hip and around my pelvis, I could feel tightness I wasn't aware of. When the baseball hit a certain spot I would get tightness down my leg, radiating from that spot. So I worked it pretty good. I felt great last night, like I made good progress. Then I woke this morning and my hip area - front, side, back - it's all stiff and sore. So I am staying off the treadmill today. I may even skip squats...but I will give it a try tonight and see what happens.

Here what I think about "fat-burner supplements":

It's surprising what we're willing to spend money on for the possibility of results. When I first started on this journey I went from 250 down to 170 in about 9 months. I didn't know anything about any supplements or the "correct" way to lose fat, but I knew if I burnt more calories than I ate, I would lose weight. And it worked. Sure I had a runners body, but I was also pretty lean. Ignorance is bliss, I guess.

BTW, just ordered some DCP and Supernova. I guess I just can't help myself.

LMAO!

Consider to buy "Gamma ray burst". It's way stronger than "Super Nova".
Be careful with "Black hole". If you dose it too high you may start time traveling and suddenly be the fat school kid again.

I use AA over the last 3 months with great Success!

I suspect that doing a little bit of cardio helps a tiny bit too...
Everyone knows you by now. You are the muscle monster that runs marathons with a smile on your face.
No matter what supplement you take, you will always wipe your azz with fatties like us, LOL!
