If you're looking for logistic work and/or physically demanding work; the cleanup in Bayou La Batre here in Mobile County is going full throttle and its going to be A LOT of work...
Crews in Gulfport, Bay St Louis, Waveland, bayou la batre, etc are all looking for more people...

If you're a roofer, you can make SERIOUS cash... there's not enough people to do the work and its all backed up for months... They've got illegal immigrants out the ass working too... they need translators (Mexicans work VERY hard but they cant be understood because 90% of them on the crews don't speak english)...
If you got a license to do cleanup, the government is paying for it I'm pretty sure...
Homebuilding, property cleanup, stump pulling, etc... its pretty much all out there. My neighbor paid $2000 to have 4 tree stumps pulled 2 days after the hurricane. Took the guy like 8 hours to get them all (including the wood removed, etc)... thats MAJOR cash.

Not sure of someone you need to contact, you pretty much either need to call FEMA(that might not even work) or actually go there and find something.
