Herbal Ibuprofen for Neuroinflammation?

We're weaning my 17 year old sister off of Advil after having a craniotomy last year. Her neurologist recommended triptans for her headaches, but we believe the prescribed dose is too low.

Are there any herbal alternatives to ibuprofen that work just as well? Or anything that would help with neuroinflammation?

Natural Aspirin alternative would be White Willow Bark. For Ibuprofen it's difficult to describe a natural alternative. I guess the closest one would be Cat's Claw and Boswellia.

Yeah, and anything else with anti-inflammatory properties can help (cissus, fish oil, etc...berberine has anti-inflammatory and pain killing properties in the literature but I haven't noticed this to a significant degree). I was on ibuprofen daily for about a year after an accident left me in chronic neck pain. For that type of headache (result of neck stuff), they helped. For your sister, I have no idea as her condition sounds serious, but I hope you find something to give her relief!

Thanks, everybody.

Docs are going to up the dose of her muscle relaxers to see if that would help.
