help with deciding to go p.h or not

hey guys, im new to a.m. and this is my first blog post.. I am currently supplementing: vpx stealth, optimum nutrition casein, and lit-up(pre-workout) also im daily taking my multivitamins,joint complex, extra aminos, b-vitamins, flax seed oil, and also i am taking creatine nitrate, plasmagen, and nitrozine by aps. I have recently lost 10 pounds due to the flu. current weight is at like 160 and i was at 171-172. My diet is in strong check. but what's really getting to me is taht my arms,chest,legs,and shoulders have not gained anything. i feel like im getting harder, but not gaining at all. I have been lifting super hard and disciplined for a little over a year now. I am 21 years old. Is it time that i should try to start a ph or no?? or should i wait til im older to do something that could effect my endocrine system??? do not have much info. on ph's and would like some excellent advice regarding anything that could help me bust plateau... thanks guys
 
Your a little on the young side to start the PH routine. I'd say don't do it and if you have to do it I'd suggest an entry level PH like H-drol. Don't put a single PH in your body until you have looked at all the post on proper cycle support and PCT. You are too young to damage your organs over a few pounds of muscle.

first of all welcome to AM and thanks for choosing Lit Up as your pre workout. If you have questions about app nut products, feel free to PM me.

Now back to your question. Everybody wants to get big fast and now. your only 21, so hold off on the PHs. If you are only 160...you can gain many more pounds on proper diet(nutrition) and training. I would be glad to give you a workout routine if you want. your results you physically see are going to be from your diet. if you wanna break a plateau, eat more than u ever have and train even harder. also, changing up your routine/reps will also break plateaus.
 
thanks guys, yea i have been doing countless hours,days and even weeks of research on p.h.'s and pct and support cycles and such... i should clarify something... i have close to 3 years of training experience.. i was lifting hardcore for bout a year and a half then took a year and a half off for personal reasons... and now i am back to working out for a little over a year.. so i only count this past year or so... i had a foundation already so it's not like i have been working on making my body foundatoin this past year. but yea i wanna hold off as long as i can.. one of main factors is im very prone to acne... had it all my teen years and finally got it completely gone and last thing i want is to flare it up again... if anybody has anymore training advice or nutrition advice i would love to hear it... always wanting to learn from people who konw more than me... which is probably 95% of people on here lol. oh and lit-up is a very good product.. on my 3rd bottle and my body has not even gotten tolerant to it and im still only using one scoop.....
 
The closest I would go to a PH for you would be Dermacrine; you can run that for six weeks then you can do an OTC PCT as long as it is well thought out. I wouldn't bother with anything else until you are 2-3 years older.
 
People say 160 isnt enough weight.....did we get the stats on this guys height? lol....What if he is 5 6'? Using PH or hormones in general is your personal choice and you should be diligent and responsible in usage....I will say from a non bias standpoint that some of the methylated designer steroids legally available scare the **** outta me and would rather this guy do REAL testosterone opposed to superdrol...etc....if Primordials new andro series would be(or seem) the safest, best route while staying legal.

What training split are you using?
 
and yea i am 5'6,, i was at 172 a few weeks ago, but got the flu horribly bad and didn't eat for like 48 hours... so my normal weight was 170-172. and my training split right now is monday-thursday, and i just got done with GVT routine for like 4 weeks and now im trying an fst-7 style training. I heard that you can get some good gains from it while burning some winter fat. and i have talked to some more people about "gear" over p.h's and they say that it's safer and i would receive more results for my money... im just gettin ideas right now cuz the last thing i wanna do is mess with my endocrine system and end up with a thyroid problem or somethin like that. and i appreciate the help guys.
