How’s everyone doing tonight? I’m going to try to make this kind of short cause I see you all eye balling the open bar over there.
Well Chelsea let me just start of by saying you look absolutely amazing, you look so beautiful. And I’m sure I speak for all the single guys here tonight when I say that today is a sad, sad day for all of us because a beautiful girl is officially taken off the market….and Steven, I’m sure I speak on behalf of all the single women here when I say today….is just another day.
But all joking aside, I have actually known Chelsea for about 12 years now. I Grew up and went to school with Jeffery, and Jeffery and I were good friends and hung out alot. I always knew Chelsea as jeffs little sister, so I’d always help keep an eye on her with Jeffery.
The first night I ever saw steven and chels together I was at jeffs playing pool with jeff, pat, eddie and I believe james was there too and we were being watch by aunt molly and randy because Brian and lynn were out of town. Well that night it got kinda out of hand and eddie and some others ended up putting a huge body size hole in the basement wall. And we were all scared for jeffery, thinking about the trouble he is going to be in so we decided to try to fix it. So I went for a drive to go pick up some supplies and I saw Steven riding in Chelsea’s car over on maplecrest road by Kroger, and I thought to myself what the heck is she doing with that dirt bag. I got back to jeffs house and told the guys about what I saw and we started talking about our negative feelings about this steven guy.
A couple weeks later rugby started at Dwenger and Steven and I started hanging out before every practice and game. And that summer Steven and chels along with some other people here tonight were at my house about every day. We started fishing and hunting together all the time and I really got to know Steven and see what a great guy he truly is. That next summer Steven and Chelsea flew down to Texas for the weekend to support me when I graduated from basic training. That really meant a lot to me and it was great to have them there for me, especially considering that fact that my wonderful girlfriend at the time was to busy doing other things to make it. By the way steven you were right about her to… Now I’ll come home and walk in my house and see Steven either in my living room talking to my family or if no one is home he is more likely stealing food from my refrigerator.
But really, Steven is a great guy. One thing that I have always been jealous of Steven for is the fact that he’s good at just about everything he does but at the same time he’s kind of like curious George. He’s the guy that will see someone doing something and walk right up to them and ask them about it and then turn around and on his first attempt get a bull’s eye. Steven is good at anything he puts his mind to.
So that’s how I got to know Steven and Chelsea but the reason we are all here tonight is to celebrate Steve and Chelsea being joined as one.
Steven and Chelsea you to as a couple is a beautiful thing. A lot of time when couples form they tend to just fade away and lose friends. But you two always seem to have everything figured out. You two have the perfect balance of time together and time with friends. I love seeing you two out and about together and just seeing the love you two have for one another. I know you two will do great things together. And we all wish you the best of luck.
