Help with a stack...

Hi everybody. I'm just getting back to the gym after about 1.5yrs away. Yeah- that's pretty sad, but I had some strange health issues relating to a horrific bout of food poisoning and nearly died. Thanks to people who are blood donors because I used my share while living in the hospital.

All that aside, I've been away for some time and have no clue where to start. I'm scanning the forums like mad but wondered if somebody could jumpstart my thinking. My fav before getting sick was anything by Controlled Labs. I liked White Flood, Green Mag, and Purple Wraath and did pretty well on them. I'm really tempted to jump back to them but I know things (and formulas) always change, and I might be missing something big.

A little more about me- I was never a "supplement junkie" but always liked taking some of the basics. I got about 8-10 years in before watching my gains really come to a halt. That's when I got into the White Floods and NO Xplodes and stuff. Maybe it was mental (I'm ok if it was as because worked) but I was in a whole new area. Stayed there for about 2yrs on the Controlled Labs stack before the illness. I've been inching my way back into the gym and have been doing some crazy cardio that I never really did in the past.

Sorry to ramble guys... any info/thoughts that can point me in the right direction will be appreciated.

Thanks

stick to the staples for now until you become more dedicated and during that time search the forums and learn on what has come out and whats new.

pre workout - white flood (legit and you love CL already)

Aminos - bulk or purple wrath

Multi - Orange Triad

Creatine - pick your fav. i like c bol or green mag

protein - iForce Protean

If your just getting back I'd say just go with working out and whole foods get as much back as you can without supplements, muscle memory will come back and once you start to plateau thats when i would slowly bringing in supplementation. But if you don't want to wait i would say stick with the very basics, creatine mono is the cheapest most effective thing there is. If you feel you need a preworkout White Flood works and is a solid company, i like Neogenix NeuroSurge for a drive/focus supplement or nonstim wise Neogenix BodyForge, but if looking for pumps iForce Hemavol is a good product also. Protein wise there's plenty of options out there find a good deal and see how you like it. Multivitamin and fish oil, nothing beats Controlled Labs Orange Triad and Fish Oil.

Thanks Guys... sounds like I'm still on the right track. I forgot to mention, the Orange Triad always is/has been part of the mix. In the past I used to swap stacks between the CL stuff I mentioned and MAN B-Octane and Clout. On a rare occasion I got into Formadrol and Methyl 1-D. My diet is pretty tight as I always supplement with protein (often times old-school Designer Whey) and live on protein-rich foods (even though I don't eat red meat).

I sincerely appreciate the replies and will stick with what you said. It's only been a month back full-time so I'll continue to ease back in and hit the (additional) supplements when things kinda level-out.

Thanks again.
