Help with 20mg seriving when 1/4 tsp equals 490mg (naringen, naringin powder)

got some naringen and want to add it to my thermogenic stack but i'm unsure how to extract a 20 mg serving from the 10 gram container when 490 mg equals 1/4 of a teaspoon.

was thinking i could dip my finger in the container and use what sticks.. but i'm wondering approx. how many mgs that could produce.

is this a supplement i could mix in water that will still hold its potency sitting in water for a few weeks. say 1/4 teaspoon in 48 ounces of water giving me about 20 mg per 2 ounce shot?

i guess a scale is best but i don't have one.... is that really the only reasonable way?

Yea invest in a scale. I got one several years back from Nutraplanet and I use the heck out of it. One of the better investments I've made.

i found this, which is not as good as a scale but will do the trick. #1 is only $3.75

Is it just naringin or is it an extract? If its not an extract u may need closer to that 490mg.

I'm guessing it's the extract, it doesn't necessarily say it but it is spelled differently. it's 1fast400 Naringen 95% and states 20 mg serving, though I've read you can take it to 50 mg and still be within normal dosage... I think the stuff really does extend the life of caffeine and other supplements as I use to eat grapefruit in the mornings daily and would feel a longer lasting caffeine buzz. Anyways the supp was 10 grams for 4.50, you can't really beat that. Tastes just like grapefruit. NP and BN both don't carry it anymore with the latter being "out of stock". I'm thinking maybe allstarhealth may just have the last of a batch...being the reason for the lower price

ah, so its a 95% extract. thats a good deal! beats buying grapefruit juice or grapefruits for the benefits. yea best bet would be to go to one of the auction sites and buy a cheap chinese jewelry scale. i paid $5 for mine. invaluable tool
