Hey guys I'm new, and I'm starting my first cycle next week. I'm 24 (stopped growing) and I'm doing 500mg of test e a week for 10-12 weeks, I have my PCT figured out and I have arimidex on hand for emergencies during cycle. I've been working out for a while. But I'm 5'10 190. Around 22% body fat, and I used to be 30%! so I've lost fat.. But on this cycle I wanna CUT, not bulk, which means burn fat and keep muscle, ( I have a good workout planned) AND I do plenty of cardio (35 minutes of aggressive cardio after each workout) I know it won't be a lot, but my main concerne is fat burn, then I'll do a bulk cycle. So my question is what's a good diet plan for Me? When I lost my 8-10% BF I was on like 1000 calories a week, and i know I need more than that while on cycle. So help me out here guys, I'm open to anything

Did you mean 10,000 a week? At 190 I'd think you are around the 2,800 mark per day to maintain if you are an active person.

Keep it simple. There are tons of calorie calculations sites. Find your maint cals and start to deduct. Just make a best estimate and adjust weekly if needed.

haha I meant a day but thanks, 2800 isn't gonna add BF is it? And yes I'm active, hardly sitting down

Just learn to diet properly PLEASE don't use drugs yet. At 10% bf you'd ball park 175lbs. That's no where near any genetic limits. Drugs are used to push that limit higher. At a high bf% I'd imagine your bp will be on the high normal. Test will put that to high dangerous. High body fat also puts you at a much higher gyno risk. Arimedex is meant to be used on cycle not "in case of emergency".

IMO you should probably do a lot more research, and figure out how to properly diet and a little more hormonal research. Get your self to a respectable bf. maybe 13-15%. By the time you get there knowing how to eat properly and knowing about hormones will optimize your cycle.

Please do not take this as a flaming or anything. It's a legit attempt to help before you hurt your self.

I understand, and I've lost 15lbs in 2 months so when i get to 10-15% BF ill start

Honestly man, it sounds like you have a ton of research to do before you even consider running test. If you have never gotten to low bf levels, that's something you should do naturally to be able to appreciate proper diet and nutrition. Without that... you are just wasting time and money on cycles. Plus, you never have a cycle like you first... you will be better off starting untapped AND ripped. Otherwise you'd never get the same out of your first time.

BTW, losing 15 lbs in 2 months may be ok if you have a really high bf %, but once you start to get under 20-15% you cant be losing weight that fast or a LOT of it will be muscle too. Slower the cut, the more muscle maintained (usually).

I'd start to do 1 lbs per week after the 15% mark.

I haven't started yet so it isn't on waste, but thanks for the advice. I'll update you guys when I get to 15%. Which would be around 175-180 lbs I'm guessing.

Good luck man!

Make sure to throw yourself up and down a steep hill for some HIIT a few times a week haha. Seriously though... melts fat and keeps the good hormones flowing for muscle retention.

totally agree with Superbeast668. Its a little early in your progress. I jumped the gun and had some scares and it aint worth it bud. Use hormones as an enhancer rather than a shortcut. get a good foundation set first and build from there. as far as dropping fat focus on a cleaner diet. take out all added sugars if possible (some fruit is necessary though) and much lower carb intake, lots of water(avoid Gatorade), keep protein high obviously, and keep fat low to moderate. cutting too much fat intake, for some, can actually backfire. our bodies naturally store fat so if a shortage is seen your body can resort back to a more survival instinct to store fat. if your body know there is a steady, not heavy, consumption of fat it will be much more likely to use it as a fuel in your day to day life and your workouts versus running on carbs. eat often as well (6-8 small meals and avoid carbs after 6pm). workouts should, as much as I hate to admit it, resemble crossfit workouts. HIIT training is definitely the way to go when trying to slim down and tone up. may even make some gains. this shock to the nervous system will re configure the way your body utilizes its nutrients. as far as strict cardio do not just run or hop on the bike. if anything, these exercise should be part of your warm ups or cool downs with high intensity sprints as your main exercise. Again, the goal being to shock the nervous system. keep training to 5day per wk. recovery time is essential especially with HIIT workouts. It can take a heavy toll, after long periods, on your body leaving your nervous system depleted and again, putting your body in a survival mode. do this for give or take 10wks and re asses your progress. hope I helped, but this is what was recommended for me by my performance techs at my command (military).

You've posted a f*ck ton. I didn't read it all but it looked pretty good. I guess we can help elaborate on the diet to help him a bit as well. What branch? I was Air Force. I was a " pt" guy. I didn't learn sh*t till I got out lmao.

Set your self up on my fitness pal. You'll be happy you did. DO NOT follow it's protein fat and carb ratios. Shoot for 150-200g pro 150-175g c and 65g fats roughly. Don't freak if you go over a little. Not every 8oz chicken breast has 43g protein 2g fat and 0 carbs.

yeah, I just like to hear myself talk I guess haha. but im in the Navy. And like you ive had to learn most of what I know by trial and error and a lot of research. got a phd in Google
