Have never tried any of the Almond, cookie butter, or healthier peanut butter spreads. What are some good ones that are out there?

Also, What are some good ways to incorporate them besides just throwing them into a protein shake?

Thx

PB2 is great. Coconut oil is good. Peanutbutter and Co cinnamon raisin swirl is an all time favorite of mine

Nuts N More is awesome, as is P28 White Chocolate

I like mixing a TBSP in oats or in cream of wheat pre workout, in a shake, in protein ice cream, etc

Yeah Peanut butter & co makes quite a few amazing ones: Dark chocolate dreams, PB maple, and the bee's knees

I like the organic PB and just throw some in oatmeal with a scoop of protein! its amazing. oatmeal peanut butter and protein powder. Carbs, fats and protein all in one.

as for other fat sources i like:

coconut oil - the lauric acid content is awesome for health benefits

avocado oil for a great source of monounsaturated fats

red palm oil - great source of vitamins and nutrients, and its a fat which allows you to absorb them effcieintly

animal fat / egg yolks, i eat grassfed beef/steak for fats too and cage free Omega-3 eggs. local farm by me has got it all, and not stupid expensive luckily

Coconut oil is great for cooking. I love peanut butter, but almond butter>>>>>>>>>peanut butter IMO. You can added the nut butters to oats, top a baked sweet potato with them, add them to pancakes, waffle, put them on apple slices. Or if you love nut butters like I do, just eat it straight out of the jar. I would measure it out though, if you count macros. When you see an actual serving, 2 tablespoons, you mind will be blown on how small it is. I also prefer crunchy to smooth. If you get natty PB, put the jar upside down, it will help spread the oil.

I also use coconut oil for cooking! I use it in my eggs in the morning and also cook it in my chicken.

Make your own almond butter or peanut butter
If you have a food processor just whip them up there in 10 minutes and they are done into a nut butter, no need to add anything else and cheaper than buying the almond butter jars.

PB&CO is ok, Cookie butter is found at trader joes, P28 has a spread too if you want a higher protein spread.

I use them on rice cakes, mixed into Cream of Rice/Oatmeal, On top of baked goods, mixed into yogurt. I sometimes drizzle peanut butter on top of eggs (sounds weird but is good). Drizzle nut butters on top of sweet potatoes as well.

On a Sweet potato + Apple Hash: + in the oatmeal

You don't like PB&CO, any particular reason? Can you post a pic of the trader joes cookie butter, as I hit trader joes every other Saturday.

Edit: I saw you posted it in another thread

Or you could google and type Trader joes cookie butter.
Cookie butter blows away PB&CO for taste, or like i said you can make your own almond/peanut butter and throw in whatvever you want. Want a dark chocolate peanut butter? throw in some melted dark chocolate when making it, want it sweet? Dash is some honey. Too simple and easy.

Banana and eggs also seem very odd to me lol. I have never put fruit in an omelette, just veggies, cheese, and meat, unless you want to be technical and cll tomatoes a fruit.

Nutribullet / good blender owners can just add the whole nuts to a shake, I've switched to adding peanuts and or almonds whole into the nutribullet with my shakes, 10 seconds and they are gone. Cheaper and easier than "butters".

I toss everything in that damn NB

Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Drizzle flaxseed or virgin olive oil all over my rice. Best and easiest way to add fatty calories. It's just like fried rice

no joke, made them taste 100x better. first time i ever did it.
used the bacon to make twice baked potatoes with cheese bacon and sauteed onoins. then used cream cheese, yogurt to help mash and make the filling
very good.
then cooked the chicken breast in the picture below that was marinated for 24 hours and then drenched in bread crumbs and parmesan cheese

Tried this the other day.
Cooked bacon in a skillet, used the grease to cook eggs and sauteed onions = MONEY
That's how my grandma makes lard hahaha! She keeps a tub of fat drippings on the stove top in a little leftover butter container. Her and my Grandpa are still kicking to this day! :)
