~UPDATE:
-Did my 60m LISS on an empty stomach this morning, as usual. Unknown distance, unknown heart rate. Outside on the gravel driveway.
-Weighed in at 199lbs, down 1lbs since yesterday. Still fluctuating, but currently up 5lbs from pre-cycle weight. Mind you, this is a recomp, so I'm not using the weight as a big indicator of progress.

~Notes:
-Usual partner bailed today, never texted me at all (supposedly proposing to his girlfriend of 4 years) so I went to the gym expecting to lift solo and the biggest guy there (6' 4", 330lbs, benches 600lbs) wanted to lift with me, and pushed me to really try weights I wasn't comfortable with. It paid off.
-Took my time talking a lot between sets, he is a big talker, haha. So it wasn't rapid, but I'm still pleased with this workout.
What else can I say? The work outs are getting better and better. Clearly this cycle is working for me. I need to start posting more selfies, but the measurements down the line will be very telling.
Putting in some serious work, nice.

I took a photo trying to show the newer vascularity that's appearing on the delts into my chest, but my phone simply isn't good enough to capture it. I upped the sharpness a bit since my phone washed it out significantly.

I feel my vascularity is up quite a bit.
I am not going to lie ... in a sugar coma atm fueling up for my 3rd squat session in the past 6 days and this montage is tripping me out:aargh:

Thanks, brother! I honestly think the willingness to push myself harder because I had a spotter 130lbs heavier than myself was key. I've set PRs with this guy before, it just helps mentally so much.
This is how I feel when I work out with my 290lb bodybuilder buddy, same height as me and only slightly higher body fat... He warms up with my working sets. As a result, I end up using much heavier weight than I think I'm capable of.
This guys in the exact same, he warms up with my working sets, haha. But there is something motivating about working with someone bigger and stronger, your confidence when being spotted goes up as well, I don't mind risking failure when my spotter can toss the weight around like nothing if need be.
Exactly! The forced reps you get with these guys standing behind you... Good lord, so painful but so awesome.
Haha, you get it, bro! That's exactly how it is! It was funny though, because he asked me to spot him on Overhead Press and put 405 on it. I was like "I can't spot this..." and he told me "A little help is better none!" haha

Not having a workout partner anymore does suck. But in my case I found it's better not worrying about relying on a partner to workout with, if they get lazy I always do the same.
I know how you feel, man. My old lifting partner skips 2 out of the 3 lift days per week anymore, and when he does show up, he isn't motivated to go that hard, kind of holds me back. You do better with someone who is pushing you, and is willing to be pushed themselves. A good lifting partner is hard to come by! I think I'm going to sever ties with my old partner, with him getting engaged and barely showing up anymore, it's just not working. I'd prefer to lift on my own and do twice as much volume anyways.

I know! I was disappointed that I had work on both sides of the Arnold, man, I was tired. EMS, Arnold, EMS, Arnold, EMS. What a weekend! But I am so glad I was able to make it and meet yourself and everyone else who was able to attend! Hell of a time!

GNO told me you stopped by! I only left the booth twice that I know of, once making trips to get more water for the free samples, and the other time to see CT Fletcher. Some how I missed you stopping by during one of those. But it was an awesome expo, right?? It was my first time being on the booth side of it, met a lot of really cool people, it was a good time.

It was definitely a cool experience! First time at an expo for me.
I met Dallas McCarver, Flex Lewis, Big Ramy, Sadik Hadzovic, and Marc Lobliner! Pretty awesome.
