Hammys how do you train em

The Axe Man Cometh!!
Lying leg curls and RDLs were my go to but the RDLs are falling in to the too high risk over reward category. Degeneration in my lower three discs have narrowed my window of error to almost nil and although I love RDLs they are starting to conflict with the goal of making sure I can return to the gym the next day; last back tweak took me out for over a week.
I'm looking at increasing sets of leg curls, nordic curls, and hyperextensions but figured I'd throw the question out here What is your favorite hamstrings workout sans RDLs?

Glute Ham machine with knees on top of pad. imo is the best posterior builder from neck to toes.
Its what has kept me still powerlifting at 58yrs old. Secondary is back extensions with a loaded bar. For me, these two exercises really build the ham strings and serve to align the posterior as opposed to heavy leg curls which leave me misaligned.

Did these today. Couldn't put too much into it because my low back is still healing but dang I felt it from my calves all the way to mid back. I think even my rhomboids got some activation. Thanks for the throwing this exercise out there! Very helpful

I would introduce these slowly, but get them in once every 7-8 days. Leave the curls behind for a while. I am pretty sure this will rehab your back. Form is more important than weight. Weight will come though.
