Halo Extreme Cut Number 2

Hello everyone,

This past spring I posted a thread following my 8 week Halo Extreme / 4-Andro / 1-Andro log while I dieted.

It went very well, so tomorrow I am going to do another 8 week cutting cycle. My plan is for it to go as smoothly as the last one.

I have already been dieting for 6 weeks, cutting 150 calories out of diet over the course of the 6 weeks. I am down about 5-6 pounds, and people are noticing that I look thinner. However, I am getting smaller and weaker, so hopefully the Halo Extreme will help offset that as I continue to diet.

The plan is to cut 100 calories out of my diet the first week (starting tomorrow), 100 more the 3rd week, and then 50 the 5th week. Starting on the 6th week, I will start to reverse dieting, adding back 25 calories per week. Last spring I reverse dieted for 8 weeks, but honestly now I think that I could have pushed it a week or two longer and added about 50 more calories back into my diet. I think this because even though I cheated on my diet a few times after the end of the reverse diet, once I stopped cheating, I felt like I started to slowly lose weight again. Furthermore, I have lost weight fairly quickly since the start of the cutting cycle, so I am going to try to push the reverse diet longer this time.



Here are my current stats:

27 years old
5'9" / 5'10"
Weight:
Before start of fall cut: 211.8 pounds
Current weight: 205 lbs on home scale, 205.9 on gym scale (probably 11% bodyfat)

3 previous prohormone cycles (Halo Extreme, Halo Extreme + 1-Andro / 4-Andro stack, Halo Extreme + 1-Andro / 4-Andro stack )

Here is what my cycle is going to look like:

Cycle:
Halo Extreme: 50/75/75/75/75/75/75/75
*first week, 2 caps daily, 1 morning and 1 evening
Iron Mag Labs 4-Andro: 2 caps daily for the duration of the cycle
1-Androsterone (mix of Finaflex and Iron Mag Labs brads): when I feel gyno developing, I will add 1-Andro at about 300 mg per day for approximately one week--this has been very effective in the past. Over the course of the 8 week cycle, I predict that I will be taking 1-Andro for a total of 3 weeks.

IML Advanced Cycle Support: 2 caps daily, 1 morning and 1 evening
Taurine: 1 gram--1000 mg caps, 1 morning and 1 evening
(I may increase the taurine dosage. I saw one log where someone took 5 grams per day, but most information I've seen says that 1-3 grams per day is a good dose...so we'll see)
Himalaya Liver Care: 4 caps daily, 2 morning and 2 evening

PCT:
Nolva 20/20/10/10
IML Advanced Cycle Support: 2 caps daily
IML Ultra Male: 1 cap daily
IML E-Control RX: 3 caps daily
 
Good luck! You mentioned adding 1-Andro when you feel gyno developing. Did you get gyno from your previous cycles or is it pubertal? Also I find it interesting that it helped. Did it slow down the progression or outright reverse it?

I started developing gyno around the 3/4 week of all 3 of my previous Halo Extreme Cycles. I had NO acne whatsoever, so I guess that my body is just susceptible to gyno (and to an extent hair loss) over other side effects. To be honest, I had a very, very small hard lump under my left nipple even before my first prohormone cycle, so I guess that it was not 100% due to the cycle...but I noticed it getting bigger, and something similar started to develop under my right nipple, too.

The 1-Andro completely reversed the gyno that had developed during the cycle. I still have a small lump under my left nipple, but like I said, that was there to begin with.

On my first cycle I used E-Control RX, and that helped, but honestly I feel like the 1-Andro helped even more in reducing the gyno. At first I was surprised, but then I remember reading that many users said Epistane helped get rid of gyno. 1-Andro is definitely drier than Halo Extreme, so I am guessing that it squashed estrogen levels and thus gyno. 1-Andro without 4-Andro gives me joint pain, so now I am fairly convinced that 1-Andro brings down my estrogen levels.
 
Weird, 1-Andro convert to 1-test which shouldn't have any impact on estrogen levels. But again everyone is different. I know epi-Andro can help through conversion to DHT, glad you found a combo that works for your body. In for gains, I scooped up a boatload of halo before the ban and will be running some of it later this year.
 
1-andro cannot do anything to help with Gyno...

if you're gyno prone, you should add androsterone or epiandrosterone...both convert to DHT and should help mitigate gyno issues.

IMO Alpha Stano is the best oral version on the market. there's also a transdermal version of androsterone called alpha andro td.

Maybe gyno isn't the right word--but my nipples definitely felt "different," and then they went back to normal my first cycle after taking E-Control RX, and the second and third cycles after adding in 1-Andro...(shrugs shoulders).
 
End of Week 1 (Saturday, September 12)

Home scale weight: 206
Gym scale weight: 206.6

One week into the cycle. I cut my calories by 100 calories this week. It is playing out very similarly to how the last cycle did so far at this point except:

1) I am feeling a lot more hungry this time. I guess that is because I am starting out leaner.
2) My blood pressure is elevated sooner in the cycle. I am taking some flor de Jamaica tea, and I am feeling better.
3) My libido is definitely up

*I'm not sure, but I'm thinking that perhaps the blood pressure and high libido is due to the 4-Andro. In one of my previous logs, I took out the 4-Andro for a few days, and I noted that my blood pressure went down again. I didn't really have blood pressure problems on my first cycle ever in which I just took Halo Extreme with no 4-Andro, so I'm thinking that the 4-Andro is cause.

**Thus, this version of 4-Andro seems to be very potent, considering the blood pressure and increased libido.

Just for record purposes, every day this week I took:

2 caps of Halo Extreme (50 mg)
2 caps of 4-Andro from IronMag Labs

2-3 caps (1000 mg each) of Taurine
2 caps of Advanced Cycle Support Per Day
4 Caps of Liv52 per day

Home scale weight: 207.2
Gym scale weight: 208.2

Week 2 is done, and I can definitely feel it now. I am getting stronger and leaner.

As compared to this spring's cut, I am definitely hungrier. It's not an unbearable amount, but at certain times of the day, I am definitely hungry.

This upcoming week (week 3), I am going to take out about 100 calories of fat (2 teaspoons of olive oil) from my diet.

Week 3 is done, and the recomp is still going well. I cut my calories again this week, so I had another drop in body fat.

This upcoming week (week 4), I am not going to make any changes to my diet.

However:

I am going to add 320 mg of 1-Andro per day for one week.
 
Any bloodwork op ?

No, no bloodwork...probably should, I know, but I've never gotten bloodwork done during or after a cycle. I have to admit that the last time I had any sort of bloodwork done was a few years before my first prohormone cycle ever, so it's something that I probably should do.

Good progress as expected this week. Not much to report.

Next week: decrease calories by 50 calories of carbohydrates per day.
 
End of Week 5 (Saturday, October 10) <--should have been posted then

Home scale: 211.4

Still progressing well. I cut 50 calories from carbohydrates out this week, so I leaned out a bit more.

HOWEVER: Very interestingly, I actually LOST scale weight this week.

Next week: no changes; reverse diet starts week 7.

Gym scale: 211.4

Still leaned out a bit more.

However, interestingly, my weight actually decreased once again...I guess that now my weight loss is outpacing my weight gain.

Next week: start reverse diet by increasing calories by 25 calories from fat (1/2 teaspoon of olive oil)

Home scale weight: 210.2
Gym scale weight: 211.7

For another week my home scale weight went down (albeit only by 0.2 of a pound). Still leaning out and gaining strength, though.

This upcoming week:

1. I am going to increase calories by 25 calories from fat (1/2 teaspoon of olive oil).
2. I am going to add in 320 mg of 1-Andro per day Wednesday - Saturday.

**NOTE: Although the 1-Andro for a few days is to help combat the slight growth under my left nipple, I have noticed something this cycle: my nipple sensitivity / left nipple growth is not as bad as during previous cycles. I have heard that estrogen-related side effects are more of a problem when you are at a higher bodyfat percentage, so I guess that now that I already have one cutting cycle under my belt, and that now I am getting even leaner, is helping me avoid estrogenic side effects.

As a side note:

1. An older female friend of mine who used to compete in bodybuilding has seen me once ever 2 to 3 weeks during this cut (including the 6 weeks of cutting naturally before starting the cycle), and every time that she sees me, she says that I look like I have leaned out.
2. One of my friends, who isn't really into lifting but who knows that I am taking a prohormone cycle now, a few weeks ago commented that my arms were looking bigger and more cut / veiny.
3. Today my chiropractor said that I am looking bigger, and he asked if I had been hitting the gym more (he made a similar comment this past spring during my last cycle). I just said that I have been dieting, and that I look bigger.


It's always nice when people notice...
