Hairygrandpas log, fat- and older people welcome!- diet, training, cycles, healing

If I wouldn't knew better, one could assume you lift weights. Hehehe!

Looking swole! You are improving fast, congrats bro!
I need to get me some ink, damn, looks good on a thick arm!

Hehehe, have some triceps too!

Im improving, yes, but honestly youre crushing it boss! I am truly and thoroughly impressed with what you do. And yes, get you some ink bro! Them there cannons you have need some paint and it would look good! I just went Thursday for 4 hours or so, only the inside of my bicep is left. Im waiting on that trying to decide of Ill leave it with just that part, or if Im going to bring it on over to my left peck. I was just happy to finally get my samurai colored in!!Invalid Link Removed

Love the ink you have! How long took your whole sleeve?

Thanks! Ive got about 23 hours in it right now. From shoulder to wrist. The shoulder down to elbow is a Japanese Foo Dog, and the elbow down is a Japanese Firefighter theme. The reason for the samurai is that while doing research for the sleeve, I found out that the Japanese had firefighters back in the 16th century and some of the Samurai were firefighters themselves. I was stoked when I found that out

Remind me to NEVER make either of you mad! FireTitan and HG, both of you are looking Swole! Nice job!

Sweet tats!

Thank you, I guess. It's almost impossible to make me really mad. To get FireTitan mad, just call 911 and say: "It burns, come quick!" When he shows up, show him what the toaster did to your finger. LOL

Holy **** you're getting huge, imagine how you'll be in a month or so!
Thank you CJ! You are right, a month is what I was thinking I'll need to get where I want to be, then upping cals slowly and start a lean bulk.
In two weeks I'm in Florida, will need all my mental strength to not break my diet.

True statement, no denying it

Says one of the most dangerous men on the board...
Bro I still dig your sleeve. Every time I look at it I'm impressed.
I like it too and although unintentional I am sure, I like how the leg of the dog follows the line of the lateral head of of your triceps. Should make for a nice shot once flexing!

Never saw it that way.... I mean, thats how I planned it. Lol. Eventually its going to go up and around my left peck. Then Im done.

And Im just a Teddy Bear.

Haha, that I do know. :)

I was referring to kenpoengineer, he is a Martial Artist and probably one of the pound for pound strongest guys on the board when you consider his strength and insane strength endurance. Not only could he hit you hard and fast but keep doing it for a very long time. Helps that he is as humble a guy as there is! Mark is a beast and if you aren't in his log check it out you will be impressed with his undying work ethic and strength that won't quit.

Ditto, kenpoengineer has a insane workout ethic! Learned a few things from him too.

Thanks Chris and HG! I'm blushing. Lol

hairygrandpa - looking through the last couple pages and getting caught up. Just wow. You have made a ton of progress. I'm impressed. Those arms look like solid muscle. Great work. You never answered me though - does this mean you aren't powerlifting anymore?

Now he is Power Building! It's like a powerlifter that also has physique goals.

No more deadlifts, bench presses and squats for months, all is about looking good naked.
I found that bicycle (at high levels) is good for legs, chin ups and push ups make the arms thick -cables give me a good chest -and inverted rows, bent over rows for back.
No powerlifting here. For comparison: FireTitan does hammer curls with 100lbs DB's. I merely use 30lbs DB's but do them inclined TUT 3.1.1.
My bet: same effect on hypertrophy, -but leaving me strength wise on puzzy level.
If I ever have to carry my wife in my arms I may face plant, lol! Regressed back to my own intuitive training method, as it yields obvious results, screw HST, ha!

Just physique goals here, hehe! One day I'll look like you -but hit like a girl, lol!

Amen brother! I need to follow this same idea and stop punishing myself with heavier weights than I should be. As long as I look good, that's the most important thing. H3ll, I'm 53 years old! My body can only take so much abuse

Current stats, cycle, health:

Health and diet:
I'm still cutting (recomping), currently at 214lbs.
Shoulder never returned to 100% functionality even after a month on TB-500 -and after the BPC.
It is better to a point I'm pleased with, allowing me to do enough exercises to strengthen every muscle.
Arthritic knees got pronounced better after TB-500.

Diet is :

-mainly protein shakes on off days with a slice of whole wheat bread + tuna
-shakes and a post workout meal on gym days
-solid food, mainly meat on weekends -with some fruit and alcohol to socialize
-staying well below 2000 kcal at any time

Training:

Down to 3 times a week, not following a particular program, going by instinct and what the shoulder allows.
Strength is there but experiencing fast onset of fatigue early into training, due to diet.

Cycle:

No other than:
-500mg test e (2x 250mg/week)
-50mg Trest pre workout
-50mg Anavar
-Melanotan 2 for fat loss and tanning (unbelievable appetite suppression)
-Adex 0.5mg every 3 days

I wish we could have a sit down and discuss my right knee, damn doctors are worthless!!!

glad you are doin better, young man!!!

Diet still strong, today under 1000 kcal, only shakes. Feeling leaner and hardened.

I decided to up my test to 750mg/week for the last 2 weeks until vacations and reinforce my diet.
After that cruising at 250mg/week for a month, then lean bulk attempt.

I gave up OTC supplements, tried it all to no avail. TB-500 helped after 3 weeks but I used it all up. Have a new order on it's way, will take it longer to see if knees improve further. Have also CJC1295 With DAC coming. Sources cite that it's the best for overall healing due to his long half life. I'm full into the "dark stuff". Will keep posting what I find out.

I have still the "urge" to go heavy on some exercises like chin ups and rowing. Somehow I feel confident that I can do them without injuring myself.
70% of my training is geared towards fatigue using moderate weights to failure with rp sets.
Could be that the results from that are in great part AAS related. Anyway, it works great, that's what counts!

Awesome last workout- like the Rear Delt variations. How's your BP on the testosterone?

HGP when he starts his bulk on the dark side!

I'm following a very low sodium diet, not using salt at all.
At 500mg BP is normal. At 750mg it has risen in the past, still too early to tell as the slow ester kicks in with delay.
Since my BF got lower, my BP lowered too.

Fiddling with AI's was my mayor problem in the past -but I kind of sorted it out now, even though the moment I take adex, my libido goes down. Using exemestane seems less harsh on libido for me.
