Hairygrandpas log, fat- and older people welcome!- diet, training, cycles, healing

Well I mostly meant the bloat from Trest since that's a sign of increased estrogen which would be counter productive but HGP said he doesn't get it and yea will power can over power the hunger but all of that's is subjective.
Awww, I see where you were coming from. I was going off his set up since I had just looked at it, and saw he has "Exem and Adex as needed to control estrogen" listed so I assume he will keep his estrogen in optimal levels.

I don't think following your diet is subjective, or blaming it on a supplement is either. Certainly some supplements make it harder to stay the course, but choosing to follow them is all discipline. Remember what "Prep Coach Yoda" says~ ;)

Just thinking out loud, the only PED's that I think a person can truly justify them causing a need to eat more would be Insulin, IGF-1 Lr3, and MAYBE GHRP-6. The GHRP-6 is just hard to control due to ghrelin release but won't cause a health risk if you don't eat more. However the insulin & IGF-1 Lr3 can make you go hypo and require a sudden influx of blood sugar.

I do agree with you that if you KNOW you don't currently have the will power to deal with something that makes you hungry then it is a smart decision not to include it. I think HGP is stubborn enough to stick 2 weeks at a time out then go back to maintenance for a week no matter what he is on. He is a proud man that isn't going to give up on such short term restrictions. I think it would honestly embarrass him if he did.

I'm already pissed, knowing I have to start the cut in a week.
I love how my arms are almost bigger than my sleeve holes (T-shirts one size to small), this may change while cutting -but I can always shop for T-shirts that are 2 sizes to small, LOL.
Love it! When you lean up you can go buy athletic cut. Bigger room for shoulders and chest, more snug sleeve, and tapered around the trunk the way muscular mens shirts should be!
No.
It should read: "...now the trick is to get to a lean 20"... "

No doubt but a nice and lean 17 inch is sexy as hell too.

Ahhhhh, she-it. You didn't just drop Yoda into the conversation. Big, muscular, and a nerd. :)

Looking again...that photo of Yoda with the bald head and hair coming out of the ears kinda looks like HGP.

So are you going to be doing McDonald's RFL diet?

Yep, HIT4ME made me do it. I will twist this diet a bit, doing 1 carb day/week AND doing an extra cardio session x day (to make the frag 176-191 count).
Will be my hardest attempt yet, all I did before was recomping. Here is the end of winter, spring is usually with summer temperatures, I must be beach-body ready in 8 weeks from now- after the diet I may not look like MrKleen73 -but ready to melt the hearts of single milfs. :)

You give me determination! Thank you -and yes, it will be a success!

I even have the force and can lift my wiener up with shear will power, LOL

In the hands of a Jedi, a lightsaber comes to life.

Ah, I already started the diet yesterday without all the gear, still waiting for the peptide:

-7 boiled eggs: 525 kcal
-5 oz x-tra lean beef: 350 kcal
-handful broccoli: 100 kcal
-total: 975kcal

The diet.. not the lightsaber.

How did it feel?

The boiled eggs felt roundish, a bit conehead-ish. Touching the broccoli, it felt like a serious vaginal herpes infection. :)

About cravings for more, well, I keep them mentally in check.

Hah! I'm sure this one is a very advanced, precision exercise. But, it looks like you're just crumbling under the load! :D

Hahaha, doing them to safeguard shoulder. I was holding on top and lowering 3 sec. TUT. I admit it looks like I'm pressing to get a huge dump out, LOL.

Lol, yeah, not sure what to say about that last photo.

Great job on the diet man! And a killer workout to boot! How is your energy holding up? That come head photo must have been a photo of you at birth?

Keep pushing brother I'm about 12 weeks in on a bad left shoulder. Shoulders and left bicep is lagging. Slowly getting better. Left shoulder at about 40-50%.

After the BPC run, did the help last?

I am so very proud of you HG! Comparing these last pictures to the beach picture - absofreakinastounding!

Its great to see you keeping up the work on such a strict cut. The pics look tight. I'm rethinking my whole way of freakin calorie counting...I'm slowly teaching myself to get by on much less than I thought possible....thanks!

Sorry for responding late, brothers. Was at the farm without internet (could have it there but chose not to).
Cut day 4 (Saturday)
-2000kcal, Vodka with "coke zero" was to blame, but what the hell, I'm not going for Mr.Olympia here.
Cut day 5 (Sunday)
-1700kcal, couldn't stop with the meat balls, all 12-15 had to go (skipped consciously the pasta and salsa), damn. At least I ate clean- and kept a caloric deficit.
Today, day 6
-on track, will be below 1000kcal again

Not on cycle yet as I'm waiting for the peptides. Cruising on 250mg test/week for the last 4 weeks.

My last oral Trest run left me with minor gyno in both boobs. I'm taking Raloxifene for 3 weeks now. Lumps were gone after 14 days.
Took 50mg for 10 days, then 25mg/day for 2 weeks, planing to do a total of 4 weeks, as the condition is already resolved.
Ralox for the win!

Man, I would even consider cortisone if the shoulder would be that bad for so long. Have you tried BPC?

Still running BPC once a day before bed at 400mcg. It's the third day without NSAID's, painful only in the morning, getting better afterwards.
Already doing push ups against a table without pain, to soon to do them on the floor.
I bet I'm almost healed. Going slow because of paranoia, LOL. You said you'll try BPC, are you taking it?

Thank you, sensei!

Looking good buddy. Definitely looking leaner.
Long time no see! Only "looking" leaner -but now going for the 15% BF seriously.
What are the news? If i remember correctly, you were about to go on TRT, right?

Me too, over time I'm learning a sort of balance-behavior, after a high caloric day, I now almost automatically switch to a carb free day -or two.
Also, feeling frustrated after a cheat, means I really got it what it takes now. Keep fighting!

Use that fire from the cheat meal to keep you in line, you can do this. You have 6 weeks. Those 6 weeks are going to give you what you put into them. The better you are, the more you will get.

Having said that, not eating is HARD. It is easy to fall off and when you do, it is OK not to beat yourself up. It's a journey, so what if you're 5 minutes late? But if you want to turn your 6 week cut into a 12 week cut, just keep cheating. :)

I'm proud of you man. Not many people will try something that they didn't think was a good idea when they first heard it. You are putting it on the line and giving it a shot, and you are doing great.

I love how you phrased that:

.... but I'm a German. Germans are never late! LOL

Thank you for your support! If we keep going like that we will soon look like Sparkss !

Edit: I meant sparks2012 , lol ...anyway, looking lean like Sparkss would be nice too!

Never tried BPC I will have to look into it. Is this what you were using in your Video?

Yes, now after using it for 20+ days, I'm at 90%+ again.
I really would give it a try! It accelerates healing, no doubt in my mind. The pinning is laughable, way easier than I thought.
Just remember to treat the vial like it's Nitroglycerin after filling with bac-water, no bumps, no shakes -also drawing/injecting very slowly to not disturb the liquid too much.
I read some negative reviews about BPC -and I bet it's because some dudes did not use it correctly.

I would like to look like either - they both look better than me.

I have bicep envy, just don't tell anyone :)

Plus, I am waffling off of being able to consider myself "lean" right not too :(.

Shut up! LOL. You ARE lean Sir!
With your upcoming TRT+Cycle, you'll have more biceps in no time, guaranteed!
Following you along, I'm eager to see what a bit of test and Ph's will do to you.

That may be but even more likely they got a hold of bad stuff. Seems about 50% of the peptides out there are underdosed at best and completely bunk in a lot of cases. New start ups are often nice because they use legit stuff to get you buying then change it up a couple months later when you trust them. There are definitely some out there you can trust but you end up paying for being able to trust them also.

Yeah a lot has happened in a short amount of time. I did eventually start a TRT regime through a doctor, however, shortly after I got into a bad car accident and shattered my left arm. I had to have emergency surgery and am now nursing a broken arm with a couple of plates and screws. I will be out of commission for a while and it ****ing sucks.

Glad you are still killing it.

No, what the fugg?
As long as it is fixable it's sort of "good news". Any legal trouble afterwards? Besides your own health this is what I would fear most.

No legal trouble at all. Doctors are optimistic I might have full range of motion again so I guess that is a good sign. All my gains are pretty much disappearing because I can't do anything at the moment. I am trying to get a run in every now and then to keep my mind occupied. It sucks and will definitely be a long recovery.

Know of anyone who is an avid lifter with any hardware in their body? I have been Googleing a lot but am coming to the realization that it might not be such a good idea to keep looking this **** up. It is full of doom and gloom.

I am just hoping to return to what I used to be and keeping positive because it could have been my life, but thankfully, it was not.

No experience with this, but the running seems risky due to bouncing and jarring, no?

How about stationary bike or eliptical?

Could you do lower body workouts?

There's also some studies that show lifting with one arm creates some (not equal) gain in the other. Something to consider.

Gains don't disappear that quick. It's 6 weeks since my shoulder injury and still have delts and pecs, without training them.
You said you are on TRT now? This might help to keep your gains too!
Lots of lifters here on AM with screws and bolts in their limbs, LOL. You will return to your old self, give it time and try to enjoy the days of rest.

I am sorry to hear about your accident brother. I know it can be depressing, but try to find your fight. The great thing about lifting is that almost anyone can do it. Midgets, amputees, etc. They may not be Mr. Olympians, but we can all fight and struggle to be better.

And then there are some like HG with screws and bolts in their HEAD! :)

Hairygrandpas log, fat- and older people welcome!- diet, training, cycles, he...

I am currently doing ab and lower body exercises. When I do run I am using a protective splint, so it is not that bad. I will definitely be looking at working out one side. I just don't want to look like some deformed freak and not being symmetrical in size. My broken arm is already smaller than the other.

And then there are some like HG with screws and bolts in their HEAD! :)

I don't know where they came from, but I have some LOOSE screws up there somewhere.
