I haven't started a thread for discussion in a while and thought this would be a good one for some.
Dying your hair. Who does it, and what products have you found to work the best? If people want to talk about highlights and crap, I guess that would be okay too. Although, highlights are not for me.
Ohhh...and Beelz, you don't count since you shave your melon...lol.
I'll start off here....
My hair started getting some gray when I turned 32 or so. Ove the last 6 years the grey has come in more and more, mainly on the sides. Now, I have have dark brown hair, so the gray is very noticeable. I am not self-conscious in any way about it. In fact, most chicks I meet like the grey on the sides. The other day a girl asked my chick how old she was, then asked my age. There's a 13 year difference here. When she was told I am 38, she couldn't believe it. I'm frequently told I look 32-34 and have to show my drivers license to prove my age. My chick told me if I didn't have the gray, I could easily pass for 30. I started thinking if I should bother trying a hair dye product just to see the results. However, I know dudes who dye their hair and it turns out looking like ****, kind of like a bad toupee.
I know the best way is to have hair dyed is professionally. But, my hair is short and would need to be dyed very frequently, which would become expensive.
Some of you will say "if it doesn't bother you, then why consider dying it?" or something to that effect. That's not the answers I'm looking for. I'm looking for a superior product that others have used, so if I do ever consider it, I won't look screwed up. I have a reputation to uphold in my "party life" I'm living right now.
