Recently had a gyno flare, I'm a 35 year old male, Not taking anything other than creatine for the last 8 years and recently as of September had uni-lateral gyno flare up starting with itchy right nipple and then followed by puffiness/swelling and tenderness and growth in the underlying gland.
I have not done any PED's for a long time, and promptly scheduled blood work which everything came back within normal range. Did a further test for prolactin and it was not elevated even though I suspected it might be prolactin related as I have dealt with that in the past.
My doctor scheduled ultrasound imaging of my breast and that determined it was not a tumor or any growth other than glandular gynecomastia.
I wasn't sure what to do and my doc didn't want to prescribe me ralox because estro was within normal range. So against their advice I began taking ralox at 60mg a day and it's seemed to at least keep it from getting significantly worse but it's driving me crazy that this is happening and I cannot and my doctor cannot determine the cause.
If anyone has dealt with anything similar, please let me know your thoughts anything to check or try.
For what it's worth, I have also cut out all alcohol for over a month and it hasn't really changed anything gyno related. It's still tender and puffy. Also prior I rarely ever touched THC so I know that wasn't the trigger or cause either. It's very strange its uni-lateral.
