Gut Health Re-Dosing

Hi,

I have just started using Gut Health 6 days ago. Today was my 1st day at 1 pill a day. I am taking it because I have read so many good reviews on it and it seems to be the answer to what I have been looking for. For the last two years, I gues do to stress, my digestion has been completly opposite of what I have been use to. I use to eat like a horse, good healthy veggies and meat. Then one day I started to get bloated, with flatulence. I noticed digestion time slowed alot. Along with constipation. Yes I do eat eat 20 grams of fiber/day.

My question are: I have not really noticed any thing to different. Definately less flatulence. Should I restart the loading phase at 4 caps per day? If so, do I continue for another 5 days at this rate. Lastly can you overdose from taking too much?

Thank you very much for your advice and info.

You do not need to do a second re-loading phase. Just give it time to work and get your system straightened out.

It is unecessary to take a bunch of caps. Give it a few weeks and see how 1 cap a day works.

The reduction of flatulence is the first sign that the colonization is effective. The organisms, at this point, should be dislodging inferior strains and beginning to reproduce on their own. The loading phase is just necessary as a spearhead for the initial attack. Complete normalization is usually quite noticeable between days 6-10 - which you are just going into.

As much as my wallet would love to recommend that you take handfuls of capsules, it just isn't necessary.

The only case where I would recommend popping an extra cap now and then is if you tend to drink to excess, given alcohols destruction of gut bacteria, but if that doesn't apply then just give it another few days and let me know how everything is.

The only other time I load more caps is when one of my kids gets sick;) I don't want to be sick this winter, not even once!

Keep us updated on how you feel. I have stress related IBS so I know how you feel.

I also agree that no further loading is necessary. Achieving effective colonization of the target probiotic (Lactobacillus Ke-99) can vary greatly among individuals. Largely this is dependent upon the current status of your G.I. tract at time of ingestion.

I would recommend increasing your water intake, and letting it ride for a week or two. As dsade said, decreased levels of flatulence is an indicator that effective colonization is occuring. I think in a weeks time you'll begin to really note the wonderful overall effects.

Keep us updated. :)
