On second thought - maybe you should just eat the laxacrine. I mean - if it's already in you - think of how deep it will go then. Transtransdermal amirite?

Update.... Pizza was ****ing delicious!!!!! Also slammed 4scoops of whey to hit protein macros. Well not quite, I hit 100g from whey and an estimated 40-50g from pizza

Haha I didn't want to mess my diet up, I see your point about a slice or 2, but I struggle with that if there is a whole meal in front of me I can't not eat it all... This is why I'll never step on stage haha

Right today's update....

Obviously I'm not quite as vascular today due to the pizza last night... Sorry not sorry :)

I'm looking very full though.

I needed the energy for my leg day today, my plan was to hit 405x3 (2 sets) but sadly it didn't happen today, it's my first time squatting 405 for a while as I've been on a 'deload' for about 8 weeks with squats.

Squats-

5min of mobility and stretching
Bar x10
135x 6 paused
225x 3 paused
315x 2 paused
350x 1 paused
405x failed...

Felt angry with myself for this so I did a drop set.

350x failure
315x failure
225x failure
135x failure

I then decided to go for a SLDL PR.. Because I was still annoyed.

SLDL-

405x 1
420x 1- PR :) was super happy about this!!!!

Leg ext-

135x failure (5 sets)

Lying ham curls-

Close stance leg press-

I was feeling toast at this point du do the heavy PR... But leg day is one of my favs so I pushed through.

DB SLDL-

Sissy squats w/ 25lb medicine ball-

BW + 25lb x failure (3 sets)

Standing calf raises-

225x failure (5 sets)

Then I was officially done haha :)

Good day, strength is clearly up due to laxacrine (except squat) along with endurance, muscle fullness continues and I'm guessing vascularity too if I hadn't had pizza :)

sometimes squat is all mental, you had all the tools and strength elsewhere, im sure that 405 is in you, not a doubt in my mind.

Agreed with ithrow. I have struggled with my strength the past bit. It really is very mental - and 405 isn't a joke.
 
This is it man... I've hit it for 3 reps before. Just an off day

I had a day earlier this week just like this. had some pause squats Monday at 235, felt like complete crap, came back Thursday hit 6 triples at 325 with a belt that wouldn't stay on, really at an RPE of probably 5.5 ha.

Give it a week a maybe youll hit another pr this week yet someplace else!

Team it happens man and your right, I'm thinking of going for a PR on CGBP or Seated Military press. I'll get one of them for sure :)

Those are the worst, but hey, they happen.

Exactly my man, it happens and you just have to get on with the workout. I used my disappointment/anger to set another PR anyway so all good :)

Today's update, it's cheat day and rest day for me so I just went to the driving range to knock some balls about, first time in over 2 years and I still got it :)

Going to try and get 9 holes in next week in the evening hopefully.

I will update on my cheat meal tomorrow. Possibly with pics too as you guys love that!

Generally speaking, my cheat day is on a rest day. It's a day I do stuff round the house etc.

Not very often I train on the same day.

Haha I know that feeling, first time you it it on flat bench is magical.. Funny thing is I'm sure my close grip is just as strong as flat. Except ill normally hit 225x5 easily on flat.
 
because of a bad shoulder issue I benched with a more narrow grip for the longest time, at one point both my flat and close grip max was 265. now that i get to bench with a wider grip im slowly evening stuff out.. I need one of those deep tissue ART massages to break up all he scar tissue and even me out

My bench has dropped hugely but as long as I'm hitting 225 I don't really mind. Trying to get back to 315 again through.

Standing pec dec-

Incline hammer press (plates)-

1x 45 each side x failure
2x 45 each side x failure
2x 45+25 each side xfailure

Did that twice... CRAZY PUMP!!!

Underhand seated chest press-

And that's it for chest nothing particularly exciting.

Mini update so far:

Well laxacrine has definatley got me hooked, it has:

* increased my strength even while in a deficit!!!

* given me great muscle fullness, pumps are good (not quite like a N02 product)

* leaning out well (shame I hold so much water though)

* increased recovery (DOMS are rare)

I've been enjoying this very much so far, I'm thinking that starting Monday next week I'll up the dose to 1.5/2ml just to see how it affects me :)

Huge chest session grinnell! My bench has fell off as well from dieting but when you come back, it'll be where you were and some!

The increased recovery and strength will be huge for me when I start laxacrine. The benefit of the increased MPS could be the reason you're leaning out as well (helping anyhow with your diet)

Had one hell of a session today and was super happy with everything, sweating was crazy and pumps were insane... It's also the first time wearing a stronger today since starting lax... I have to feel comfortable with my physique to wear one... I'm getting there now :)

Seated military press-
