Gran Torino is a kick-ass movie!

I enjoyed the movie,.. and how often does it end that way for Clint??
But really a good movie on so many levels, dealing with loss, humor, friendship, and so much more!
 
Is taken the Angelina Jolie movie? Did you guys see the Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford? I avoided watching it but did so recently. I'm sorry I waited! It was really good! Slumdog Millionaire was was amazing as was Doubt which was shot in my old neighborhood and elementary school!
 
I enjoy the direction certain action movies are going as of late: grainy cinematography, unassuming leads [see: Matt Damon and Liam Neeson], and more plausible scenarios [see: not Brooklyn cop defeats the world]. Although these situations are obviously fantastical, they are more real than the Bruckheimer-Michael Bay style action film; in reality, a CIA Operative who could kill you looks much more like Liam Neeson and/or Matt Damon than Arnold.

Unassuming?! Liam Neeson is definition of awesome.

Freakin Schindler aka good Nazi. Rob Roy aka bad arse Scotsman. Jedi master aka master light-saberist. And now, "whoever he plays in taken" aka really angry father that wants his daughter back.

As for Matt Damon...Well...Matt...Daaaaaaamon.
 
gran torino was a great movie!..i just saw underworld 3-rise of the lycans!...good movie also!
