If you're gonna drink hard liquor, ya gotta drink it straight IMO. This whole queer 'mixing' bit is annoying to me. I think of it like putting ketchup on Prime Rib: it's just wrong!

I agree,I don't drink a drop anymore,I love being sober and juiced up,to me thats as good as it gets..

But I do miss good beer,I was never a fan of domestic budweiser BS,I lived in SC for a while and there was this little beer shop,there you could brew your own beer and there were no 6% alcohol laws,so they had imported beers from everywhere,best beer you'll ever drink is made in belgium,theres a bacteria in the air in belgium that does something when the beer ferments that cannot be duplicated anywhere else in the world,and its adds a tartness of some sort to the brew,they make krieks' ,all kinda sh1t,guy at the store set me up with everything to brew 5 gallon batches of my own beer,And a beer recipe encyclopedia,it was alot of fun brewing that stuff,it would be a couple months before it was ready to drink,but awesome none the less,last batch I had made was a dark stout,like guiness,and I used some jamacain blue mountain Coffe beans in the recipe,Dark Coffe stout,caffeinated...stuff turned out 17% alcohol...Holy Sh1t Batman...I would barely share it with my closest friends,they had finally started paying me for a few beers,I swear even ice cold the stuff would warm your throat as you drank it,2 beers felt like you just ate a meal...2-3 of those was like a 12 pack of some reg BS beers,WOW...

Damn't I gotta shutup or I'll want a beer,lol

But pretty much anything Samual smiths if you can find it is top notch import beer,no.not sam adams,Sammy Smiths,you may pay $18 for a 6 pack but thats real beer...Budweiser is rice piss if you ask me...

Like a gin & tonic?

I just really love the taste of whiskey, gin, and even just straight Jaeger to ever understand disguising it's taste with something else. Throw it in a small glass, maybe put some ice cubes in it if it's piss-warm.

Fortunately for you, the GLC does not discriminate by drink preference.

Tonic has quite the bite and a **** ton of sugar. Soda water is just carbonated water. Add a splash to your scotch ( or bourbon, tequila etc..) you may really like how it accents the flavor vs covering it up.

You down with GLC? Yeah you know me!

I really wouldn't know because I never drink it not straight. It's such a rare occasion for me to drink alcohol, that when I do I wanna taste the alcohol dammit!!!
 
UPDATE: This log is gonna have to be less of a priority for awhile. I'm going to be doing a product log for diesel test hardcore starting 9/3/07.

I decided to try this out and picked up myself a box. There was 10 tubes which you tear off the tops and dump them into a bottle of water. I would have like to have gotten the apple flavor, but unfortunately it was out so I just got the 'cranberry' flavor instead. The cranberry flavor was extremely sour and made my face pucker everytime I drank it. Morning Star is said to contain 200mg of caffeine, and when I drink it I do get the caffeinated feeling. It is just as substantial as 1 can of Monster/Rockstar....1 tube that is.

The whole box was around $1.97-$2.00 so it was pretty cheap. The caffeine effect was also adequate as well.

RATING: 9.5/10. With 200mg of caffeine and 10 tubes, which 1 tube is good for 1 drink I gotta say it is the best deal so far yet. The tubes are easy to carry and portable enough. Also for 10 tubes it is extremely cheap. My only thing is the nasty cranberry taste...it was very sour and very pungent. I'll have to pick up a different flavor next time. Its good stuff and I'm looking at using it to replace all the expensive energy drinks I buy. Great recommendation:thumbsup:

yeah, that stuff's the ****. Cheap, effective, and (provided you like cranberry) tastes pretty decent. Apple is really good as well. My heirarchy goes Apple > Cranberry > Grapefruit. Orange is good too, but I just don't really care for orange juice.

regular wal-mart's usually just carry orange flavored ones. Which, if you like the taste of "Tang", is pretty good.

Super Wal-mart's carry all 4 flavors: apple, cranberry, grapefruit, and orange.
 
hmm, i'll have to look out for that stuff.

Ever since I first heard about Diesel Test (back in Feb '07) I've literally been hopping from bottle to bottle on this stuff.

Everything so far that I've tried has been pretty good. My only issue is Diesel Test 2040. That version was not very good IMO, and the Kre-Alkalyn did absolutely jack. The long jack had no effect on me either.

2010,trib test, r4w,nos precursor (sometimes),raw test all worked up to my expectations though. Due to money cost, I usually just stick with Diesel Test it has been good so far.

I think a lot of people who have ran gear/pro steroids expect the same results with diesel test which won't happen. Chuck dosen't make that claim at all. He just has extremely good, potent herbal products. I think Bill you've probably seen my posts on his product website too.

Let me preface this by saying I am not at all proud of this, it was a stupid thing to do, but one saint patty's day I drank a 750ml bottle of jaeger and a 4 pack of redbull. Yeah, ****ing stoopid. I actually didn't get sick at all, but I felt like a jackass for doing that to my poor body when the weeks before I had been making great progress on my squats. Haven't had a drink in months :]
 
I'm not trying to be a jerk or anything, but everyone please stop side talking on my thread, esp about personal alcoholic endeavors.
 
endorush only gave me heartpain the first time i drinked the 1/4 bottle and now i have to drink like half the bottle and like a ton of mt dew for it to work like 1/2 hr tops
 
Your tolerance get adjusted as time goes on. I've noticed that 1/2 a bottle now is no problem for me, in fact, it seems to just barely work. I need to slowly withdraw from caffeine so 1/4 bottle still works. When your tolerance keeps getting higher and higher, the only thing that happens is you waste more $$$ trying to chase the same effect time after time.

When you get a chance, try Xyience xenergy. I personally like the 'clear' flavor. They come in 16 and 8oz cans.. I get mine at local BPs.

I bought this energy drink awhile back in the smaller version. (I believe they have 2 different can sizes). Xyience is the 'offical' drink of the UFC...it is printed all over their can. I bought myself the Cran Razz flavor which is pretty good actually. They have an interesting can set up, it is all silver and has a bar code with some Japanese characters......um....errrr ok ? What do being silver, bar code, and Japanese characters all have in common with being an energy drink of the UFC ? I don't know either.

RATING: 6/10. This energy drink tastes good. I enjoyed the flavor. The ingredients are the typical run of the mill for energy drinks. What gets me is the cost. These energy drink are RIDICULOUSLY expensive. I know Monster/Rockstar are bad, but Xyience is right up there with them. On top of that the whole can design is still baffling to me. If it were lower in cost I'd buy it again, but since it is not, then I won't......in fact that Cran Razz that I bought was the only one I ever got.

yeah if you look a few pages back I already reviewed the Hulk hogan drink.

Personally I liked the taste. At the place I got it at they only had the sugar one, not the sugar-free, but I'd def. buy it again. I also tried their RAW Attitude drink. Tastes exactly like Rockstar Juiced.
 
UPDATE: Yep, just got around to trying the Apple Morning Spark. This literally does taste like Apple Juice. It is pretty damn good. I got myself 3 boxes, def. the best flavor....cheap too.

It is good stuff. What can I say ? It is low calorie, has caffeine, tastes good, and most of all is cheap. I'm gonna try out sometime after I finish these the other brands that you were telling me about.

Actually I haven't bought an energy drink it quite sometime. I've really cut back and the only time that I am buying them now is when there is a 'new' kind that I don't have. Since I started I'm having a more difficult time of finding drinks, b/c every place I go to has the stuff I already do.

So right now I just buy Endorush pre-workout, and using Morning Spark during the day, etc, etc.

Wal-mart should hook us up.

Usually the stuff is propriety blend, however, with that Hogan Drink the amounts for it is listed. Its pretty cool how they have horny goat weed. You can never have too much of that stuff.

Hogan's drink and Kronik are 2 of the best run-of-the mill energy drinks.

REAL energy drinks are usually made by supplement companies, not these knock-off beverage places.

Rumba has tons of vitamins and energy adding ingredients including 2000mg of Taurine, 200 mg of Panax Ginseng, and 5000mg of their special Energy Blend which has Glucose, Caffeine, and Guarana. This energy supplement comes from a blend of 7 juices and fruit puree. The drink itself is also non-carbonated.


This drink touts itself for being an energy drink that is 100% all natural juices. I personally found it to be gross and almost like a spoiled orange juice taste. There are some juice based energy drinks like Monster M-80, Monster Juiced, and RAW Attitude, but this one really missed the mark. I'm not sure exactly what the caffeine content is, but I am going to guess it is the same as the rest of them...160mg-200mg. I remember seeing this chilling in my fridge forever before I ever really got around to drinking it.

RATING:2/10. This drink was gross, and I couldn't even recommend it purely for a replacement for orange juice, because real orange juice tastes 100% better that you'd buy from a supermarket.
 
Editor's Note: I'm to the point where I think I only have 2 drinks left to still drink. I have not checked out GNC yet, but I probably will just to see what else they got there. I pretty much picked up most of the various ones out there at Vitamin Shoppe, at most grocery stores, and gas stations. So yeah hopefully GNC has something unique that I have not seen/tried yet.
 
there is this energy drink my friend said is insane. I remember looking at the ingredients and it looked like it could do some damage. all i remember is XS on the can, maybe purplish pinkish or something? i found it....Invalid Link Removed maybe not that good, who knows there are alot of flavors tho.

big beverage companies have too much to risk by putting alot of stims in their drinks. someone is bound to sue them, even if just for quick bucks

54mg HWG is an arbitrary number. It's the phytochem's in it that hold any value, and not the actual herb itself. I get pissed when they say Xmg guarana in every other energy drink ever made because that inherently tells me NOTHING.

Icariin, in HWG, can also behave similarly to an adaptogen and could have some effect on energy levels.

Clear shot also contains Citrulline Malate and Ginger extracts, which I don't really see being associated with energy. CM aids endurance by reducing toxins produced during exercise and Ginger is a thermogenic also used to help with tummy-aches. On what grounds are you simply calling it an energy drink? I figured these were added to broaden it's application.

So when the new ginger ale flavor of Clear Shot comes out, is it just the taste that is changing ? All the other ingredients and strength of the drink stays the same ?

Also too on that note, is there a possibility in adjusting the price ? I know larger containers was talked about but I was just wondering. Maybe selling direct might help ?

Honestly, I'd like to buy Clear Shot again and start using it, but the cost is just too expensive.

Redline Xtreme is phucked up shlt. I'd try XS, but Redline Xtreme is really phucked up. On top of feeling really jacked up, the beta-alanine tingle all over my body was like salt in the wound.

There is an update of all my energy drinks taken a picture of per request of MentalTwitch. At the time this picture was taken I still have 3 unopened drinks in my fridge that I did not include in the picture.

TOTAL= 78 DIFFERENT DRINKS as of Sept 12, 2007

BTW, Endorush is easily the greatest/best supplement of 2007. It is a permanent staple in my stack after pissing away so much money on other worthless supps. When I say that I mean I literally WASTED money on junk. See all those Endorush bottles ? That's Ronnie getting all my money....its all good though....which reminds me, I'm outta Endorush cuz the store was out.....not good. NO-XPLODE sucks too.

Did mean to attack you with HWG propaganda. Just, from the research I've seen with it, HWG seems like it could be used for more than just libido enhancement. I'd be most concerned that Clear shot would taste worse than before with HWG in it.

You know prior to those pictures that I took, I tried stacking them up against the wall 3 seperate times and they all fell over....which really pissed me off. I should put some shelf as a border that circles around my apartment then put them there.
