As I was getting closer to being normal weight I used to look at those girls that truely have a thin frame and go they are so bitty.
I am not.. I have a butt, I have boobs.. I have an hour glass.. and I have large thighs.. they aren't fat.. but I played sports all my life.. and I am proud of it.. You should be too! Keep working hard and you find those jeans that make those curves look great! :-)

Hip bothersome even more so during sumo squats, so today I used an even wider stance than usual and concentrated on using my glutes and sitting straight down and not back. Energy was through the the roof today - just crazzzzzy energy! I was literally jogging around during my sets and could not wait the full 30 sec to do the next set, lol. Usually I'm spent after supersets, but I had all this energy so I finished up with planks to work on my core and lower back since my lower back has giving me issues lately. I'm done with my work out but I am still pumped!!!! This is great because yesterday I felt like death!

Your hip and lower back could be very well connected with the pain. If it worsens or continues see a doc so you can go do pt to get some exercises to strengthen those lacking muscles and possibly get you back in alignment. Good luck! Nice work!

No lunges today. After tennis yesterday my hips were really sensitive to the touch. Didn't want to make the mistake of aggravating my hips anymore than they were, so I'm going to give it a rest until Wednesday and see how I feel then. Neck felt tight during planks, but I am improving on my planks. I'm beginning to do them every day and concentrate on squeezing my glutes! Energy was on the low side today, even though I drank almost a whole can of an energy drink pre-wo.

Hip bothered me during step ups and lunges today even though I went a bit lighter than usual. I find that I cannot sit for long periods of time or else it will start to aggravate it. Decided to throw some hiit sprinting in the grass today which was a good end to my work out. :) There was a playground next to the park, so I tried the monkey bars for ol' times sake. Wow, I could barely do them! I felt so old haha

I had a kink on the left side of my neck after twisting it while playing tennis. The kind of moves where you lower body goes one way, but your upper body goes the other! Ouchie. Took 2 SuperCissus right after tennis, again before bedtime and it's feeling much better today!

Been about 2 months since I've done deadlifts or squats because of hip issues. With the carb load yesterday as well as dosing Super Cissus RX for the past few days, I wanted to try and incorporate them back into my workout today. I went light but it felt pretty good doing them again! Don't know if I will be doing them regularly, maybe once every other week, but at least I know I can do them without feeling pain throughout the movement.

I also bought a Stability ball and it's the only thing I sit on now because it's comfortable on my hips. :) I also attempted to do Swiss ball leg curls. Let me just say, WOW, really felt it in my hammies! I was only able to do 2 sets of 3 - it's hard to balance myself and I kept falling off lol.

Today's workout was meant for yesterday but I fell asleep early, and didn't wake up until 10 p.m. Woke up, ate some pickles, a cucumber and a tablespoon of PB and went back to bed lol. It felt great though! My body really needed the rest. Most nights I have trouble sleeping for numerous reasons, but I was able to sleep soundly last night so I took full advantage of that. And I think because of that I had a much better workout today. I've missed doing deads, it felt good to do those again. I've got to remind myself to keep the bar closer to my body when pulling, I felt it a bit in my lower back on the last set/last rep.

When I have no motivation I usually promise myself a steak after my workout and it usually works...

I try to eat sweets sparingly (I realize I had a butterfinger last night lol. I fit it in my macros!) so something like that would get me off the couch :) That and getting dressed in my workout clothes to put me in that state of mind. I'm already dressed so now I HAVE to work out lol.

They were good! I did them using a DB, laying down with back to the floor. Not much strain on my shoulders like Tricep EZ Curl Extensions. Like this:

Went super hard today! Deadlifts wore me out - my arms and legs were shaking after my last set. I used the SOTD to get me through RDL and supersets at the end of my workout... let me just say it really pumped me up. I was so concentrated during RDL and super sets that at the end of my super sets everything (sweat, tears, pain) just hit me like a train and amplified all my emotions. I don't know what it was, nor can I explain it, but the speech really hit me right in the heart.

Anyway! So as if I didn't think almost passing out after supersets was enough, I figured I would throw in a LISS session too! Yay... Well, it's been a while since I've jogged and I had very little endurance - it was kind of embarrassing! I only found my stride about 3/4 of the way in. All in all, this work out kicked my ass and I have a feeling I will be very sore tomorrow... :)

Didn't have trouble keeping up with the cardio at all, but about 30 min in my knees were giving me problems. Been massaging them since I finished.

*I was so uncoordinated doing pikes. I attempted them a few times before I could properly balance myself. Kind of advanced for me but it really did hit my core!

next time you do planks try reversing them. sit on a bench and lean back, pulling your feet off the ground and straighten as much as you can into a plank balancing only on your butt.

Good workout. Again, deads take a lot out of me especially since I start with OHP. The first rep of the last few sets for both OHP and DL are always the hardest for some reason! I feel like I can't pull out that 1 rep, but once I get the first rep up the rest follow more smoothly. Felt a bit of soreness around the hip area when I was on the treadmill so I made sure to foam roll and stretch the crap out of my hammies, quads, and lower back before bed!
