I'll be going in a couple of weeks, and have been pricing a couple of airfare/hotel packages. I've never been there before, so If anyone has any preferences for hotels/resorts or anything else when they go fill me in! I'm going with my wife so unfortunately stripclub info won't help much. (unless I can talk her into it:cool: ) Thanks guys!

I've been out to Las Vegas 15+ times. What kind of questions do you have? If it's your first time, stay on the strip...someplace nice with a good pool scene: Mandalay Bay, Mirage, Bellagio, Caesars, etc. Are you a big gambler?...looking for good card rooms?

Definitely Mandalay Bay!! The topless pool is a blast.

I've been there maybe 6-8 times. The only hotel/casino I didn't like was Aladin. MB is my fav.

Try to get to at least one of the Circue du Soleil shows. I've seen Mysterie (sp?) twice and it is absolutely incredible. My wife has seen "O" and loved that. We're both dying to see Zumanity, supposed to be a little more risque.

Forget about sleeping!!

Bring lots of cash, Vegas seems to have gotten more expensive the past few years.

I always go for the SHOT show and have tried a few places. One thing I learned is you get what you pay for. When I stay at nice places on the strip it's always nicer. I like the MGM, they gave me a handicap room because I was recovering from Knee surgery. Very nice people. Been to the Hilton and is you are a Star Trek nut it's fun. Over all I like Ceasers, Mandalay Bay, Bellagio, TI oh hell I like them all. The cheaper places are best for gambling.

Try this link I am there a lot picking my next place.

Bellagio is VERY nice and midweek is reasonably priced (for a top tier hotel). Things look close but they really aren't (the blocks are really long) so plan on taking cabs around (have a buck for the valet and about $10 for any cabride up and down the strip). The Benihana in the Hilton is the nicest one I've ever been in.

Thanks guys, we decided on staying at new york newyork(my wife had booked it before I had seen the replies). We found a pretty decent deal on vegas.com. It's cheaper than some of the places mentioned, but will give us more cash to play around with.

Best dining experience of my life was in Sensei....asian fusion restaurant in the Bellagio. Kinda spendy though (dinner for two with appetizers/tip was about $130.
