I am on a current 2 day split which is Day1 on,Day2 on,Day3 off,Day4 on, Day5 on,Day6 off,Day7 off.

In my prievious routine this worked great, i had enough rest days and put on a 5ish lbs within a month. With my new routine i am pushing every set to failure and am still not fully recovered from 3 days ago so im wondering maybe im starting to over train? Oh and i tried doing some light cardio and i just didnt have it in me im currently on day 4, is every set to failure pushing it??

I do every set to failure.

Then again - I only do like 15 sets tops for a body part. Like maybe I go in to bench and do 5 flat BB / 5 incline bb / 5 decline machine press.

I also try to do the DC sets (not every day though) ... I know you're supposed to have a spotter - which I don't - but I can usually get the bar to safe indent when I fail.

yes, training till failure is an intensity technique... you dont have to do it all the time....

it really all depends what your goals are...
