Glucose Levels on AP

When taking AP, should your glucose levels after a meal be higher than when not taking it? The reason I ask is because when i take AP, my blood glucose will hit 150 after a meal but if I dont take it, my blood glucose hardly ever breaks 120 after meal. Both meals contained about 75g carbs.

That's an objective (somewhat sign) it is working. You dose it, and your blood sugar is lower because more glycogen is being diverted into muscle cells.

No disrespect but isn't this the opposite situation which the OP has described is happening? I believe the OP is saying that taking a dose of AP prior to a meal resulted in higher blood glucose levels than compared to when not dosing with AP...

Are you only taking one reading? And at what time after eating?

Here's his post
The only reason I can think of is that there's glucose being released from your liver. The liver stores up to about 100g of glucose and in times of low blood sugar will release it so your brain can still function. It could be that your blood sugar drops faster than normal with AP and your body senses this and releases glucose to counter it.

When I tested P-Slin WRT blood glucose levels(on Mind&Muscle) this isn't something that I experienced.

that was my reading approx 2 hours after a meal and yes i tested after every meal for a few days on it only happen on the meals i had taken the ap. all the meals had slow digesting carbs like oats, sweet potatoes, or ezekial bread btw.

Your postprandial blood glucose levels were still around 150?

yeah very strange.

Ive been running blood glucose test on myself again today and everything seems to be back to normal now. My glucose level would peak around 130mg/dl 1 hour after the meal and be back to a fasted state of 75-80mg/dl after about 1 hour and 30-45 minutes.

Im just assuming there was just some other underlying factor that was affecting me that i wasnt aware of unless the ap shocked my body so much and i just had to adjust. Just to add, im loving the effects its having on me, lifts have gone way up
