THe peptide is usually sprayed in to the vial by machine and than go for lyophilization ( mannitol usualy makes the volume of the white powder disc if I remember corectly ).
so maybe it is just without lyophilization proces as I got some ghrp-6 that is looking like there is nothing in the vial but if you look closer you see "something" on the bottom of the vial.
it is peptide and it worked for me .
dont know if you have the same problem or you had lyophilized peptide in the vial that turns in to gel !?
If you have later- than dont know the **** !
surprising, i wouldn't have guessed that would happen. if it was Pegylated, then possibly. I suppose it could be a stationary phase polymer if it was purified using LC and improperly eluted. gels are funny creatures some matrices at the right dilution (and pH) just happen to gel.
Are you staying with all of the procedures for temp and so forth? It actually happened to a friend of mine where the temp on the fridge had been way to cold and his wouldnt be exactly gel, but like a really thick solution instead almost like a syrup consistency.
