Getting Cheeky and Testy with intraTest Xtreme

I'm back fellers and will be hitting the gym sometime later today. Things went pretty well down there I think. Wish I could have stayed longer though.

For my 4,000th post I give you------- just an update.

Today was arms and we destroyed them. My forearm is spasming and asking me what it did to deserve the pain!

Started with

Barbell Curls
supersetted with
Tricep Pushdowns, w/ rope

I went up to 105 on the curls but the straight bar was just killing my wrist so I quit after 3 sets. BTW, my workout partner worked up to and successfully did barbell curls with 185 pounds! :eek:

moving on here boss

I set up the next station.

Nautilus Bicep Curls (I like this one because it gives you a nice isolation movement through a full ROM and just feels good.
I worked up to 80 pounds per each side on this one (plate loaded).
supersetted with
Nautilus Tricep Extensions
I was going to work up to 90 but my partner threw on 100 pounds (per side) so I decided to give that a shot. I about killed my left arm but I got it done. My left is weaker cause it was a beast getting that one done.

next

Preacher Curls
supersetted with
Bench Dips with plate loaded lap, plates taken off to make it similar to a drop set
supersetted with
Barbell Drag Curls
I used the EZ Curl bar for this one and it was much better on my wrist

then

Underhand (supinated) tricep extensions
supersetted with
Bicep Curls

We did about 5 sets of everything except the first one for me.

At this point our training was done BUT since I missed the last couple of days, I wanted to do a little more on my own. so i did.

I then did a little bit of everything else except legs since I doing those tomorrow.

-Chest Press with FM cables

-Incline Press

-Pec Deck

-Seated cable low rows. Somebody had put two D handles on their instead of the typical close parallel grip handle so I figured I'd give it a shot. It allowed for greater wrist and arm flexibility and I ended up really liking it.
I felt good so I decided to try the entire stack at 300 pounds. Well, I kinda got it but not really since it turned into more of a back extension!

-Lat pulldowns, various grips

-Shoulder Press

-then ended up with some abs.


That was a bit much but I felt better after I got it all done. I did at least 3 sets of each of those.

I just took my intraTest Xtreme and I'm scraping the bottom of the tub. Looks like only two uses left or so.

yup. Had to play catch up cause I missed so many days in a row and I hate that. It was a bit brutal and my arms hurt a good bit today but that just means growth is goin' to happen!
 
Today was legs. Today my knees felt good. So today I got to hit them harder.

-Leg Extensions

-Laying Hamstring Curls

-Squats. Rack was being used so we used the smith machine today. Shut up, it's still good! :D
Today I was encourage by my training partner to go heavier so I ended up going up to 390 lbs. That was a PR for me, largely cause my knees felt great (thank you cissus-) (stupid auto correct kept making that kisses and would stop so I had to add the freaking - to make it stop). It was also in part to having a good training partner that I was confident in that could effectively spot me on it.

-Seated Hamstring Curls

-Single Leg Calf Press
FM, whole stack at 400. Really need some more weight or maybe just focus on donkey raises.


So I took my intratest with superpump and creatine preworkout and I felt great through the whole routine. That actually finished off the tub because I had about 3 scoops left so I just put it all in there.

I'll get my final review up here within a couple days.

today I did back

-Lat pulldowns
underhand grip then did regular grip
compound setted with:
-Straight Arm Pushdowns

-seated rows on plate loaded nautilus (can you tell yet that this gym has tons of nautilus stuff?)
went up to 5 plates on each side
compound setted with:
-High Rows on nautilus plod
same, up to 5 plates on each side but this movement was heavier/harder for me then the other

-HS Pullovers
worked up to 6 plates total

-Pull ups

-then alternated between back extension and different kinds of abs stuff for about 8 sets

I noticed the nautilus thing a few times.

yeah, some of their stuff is good and some is crap. I like hammer strength the best out of all the machines. For me, I find a good combination of both free weights and machines are very effective for me.

I read over this entire thread and have yet to see you get cheeky!!!!!! False advertising!

Well sir, the cheeky part was just for my European friends that abandoned this log long ago. But rest assured, testy did happen! Not yet BTW. I hoping for the call either tomorrow and Monday.

I would have to agree with the machine/free weight thing. I just dont get why each gym picks a whole line of machines by 1 manufacturer? Im sure its cheaper ya but wouldnt it make sense to get the best equipment for each individual type of machine? Just something that bothers me thats all I will stop now :)

This was my first experience with a Lecheek product. I chose this product because I like the profile on it and it fit in with what I was doing. I enjoyed this product except for the taste. Taste wasn't terrible, it just happened to be one of the flavors that I really don't like. It mixed pretty well for the amino content. I would love to see a flavor expansion of this product. I felt that this product worked well for me. I liked the extra BCAA's that it provided and I just those to work. I also like the rest. I felt a noticeable libido boost. My strength has steadily increased. I can't fully attribute that to this product alone but it certainly didn't negatively impact it either. I think this is a good product and has aroused my interest in trying other Lecheek products.
