Cycle Conclusion
Alright all, the cycle ended yesterday. I will take some after pics tonight after I get home, as well as take final measurements.
Until then, I will provide you all with my final thoughts on the cycle.
Final weight was 211.4, a 13.4 lb gain. In addition to that, I lost 1.8% BF in that same timeframe. 1.8% equals approximately 4 lbs at my weight. So all in all the weight gain was not bad at all. I did not get all of the gains that I had hoped, especially the way the cycle started out. The last two weeks on the cycle I saw no additional weight gains, which leads me to wonder if the addition of the Sustain to help keep Libido up had some impact on the weight gain. I have read that users of AAS' who incorporate something like Arimidex or Clomid can see a reduced weight gain, and am thinking maybe this was something similar. Thoughts???
I had no harsh sides on the cycle. Some acne, but nothing over the top. Def water retention, I could often see the excess water under my skin. As far as strength gains, hard to really tell since I couldn't lift heavy on bench with my elbow issues. But they are doing better.
Last week on chest I was able to press 315 8 times, so I'm getting my strength back. I hope to get back to my 385 for a set of 8 like I was doing prior to the tendonitis. Curls, seated, on Friday, I was able to do a set of 4 with 70 lb dumbbells. Just an idea on how I do seated curls, I don't do hammer where you come up and turn your wrist. I sit, and holding the weight with my wrists turned out, I curl straight up for maximum isolation of the bicep. I'm not a big fan of the hammer because I feel that it is too easy to cheat and do them, so I prefer the strict form of wrists facing straight out and an straight up and down, if that makes sense??
As far as squats, I saw, what I felt, was nice gains. Previously I could squat 350+ but it was normally only for sets of 4 max. But by the end of this cycle I was squatting sets of 8 at 335. So there was a def improvement in my endurance and strength there. Also on seated rows, I saw a strength increase by hitting a PR of a set of 10 with the entire stack, 200 lbs.
I started my PCT and the Phyto-Test...Man that stuff tastes like A$$...Smells much better than it tastes, and burns like liquor and sticks with you...But hey that is part of what we do to reach our goals...Short term suffering=long term gain.
But all in all I am quite pleased with the stack and my gains...Even with getting food poisoning and losing weight and all the EXTRA weekend cardio, I was still able to put on some good weight...Now I just need to focus on the rebound as I go into my PCT and continue to work out hard to retain my gains.
I started on the new Dark Rage pre-workout mix by MHP...Damn this is some MEAN stuff...If you try it, don't take it too late in the evening, had me staring up at my ceiling until like 2 a.m. and I had taken it at 5...Also looks like blood when you mix it...But def seems pretty solid in the last 4 days of taking it....I am also starting back on creatine to help retain the gains as well...
So I am hoping that between Sustain, Toco-8, Endo-Amp, Phyto-Test, TNT test stack, creatine and the Dark Rage, that I will be able to retain and possibly gain a few more lbs....With ppl reporting 8-10 lbs on the Phyto-Test, I am thinking it is a good possibility...And even though I was not able to reach my 220 goal, I feel great progress was made...It is still my goal to work towards, but I don't know that I will hit it prior to having to start dieting for my show.
I will continue to post up throughout PCT, but most likely not as often...Just to let everyone know how it is going, any changes and/or corresponding loss of weight now that I am off of the supplements
Also, I am def thinking I will run the Dymethazine again, but I certainly will not run it for 6 weeks again...I feel the greatest gains were in the first 4 weeks and feel that it may work better to bridge into another supplement...Kind of like ppl who use D-bol to kick off an AAS cycle...I think it would be good in that capacity since you see quick gains that seem to taper off and then bridging into a gainer that has better long term/steady gains.
But if you have any questions or would like any clarification, please let me know...Its all about education and helping each other in making good choices so we might all reach our goals.
Until then, Keep on Pumpin!!!
