I don't want to bug anyone, but I am a newbie on this forum. I have been lifting off and on for several years, but have recently decided to take my health more seriously and I am going to ask for some suggestions from you all. I'm 5'8" 175, 27yrs. and I am looking to add some lean muscle (get in line, eh?). Aside from a multi-vitamin, whey, creatine, fish oil...what would you consider to be the top 3 supplements, in your experience, to put on about 5-10 lbs. of lean muscle while lifting 2-3 times a week.

Thanks for your patience,

I jumped right into PH's. But if your not ready for that. Get some Preworkout and maybe a natty test booster.

If your looking for a PH, start with Helladrol! Don't start with Superdrol like most of the guys do who first start out.

Get your diet down before you worry about any supplements aside from the staples...idc what supplements you get on nothing will give you more results then a correct diet bro

Agreed... Supps don't build muscle... They supp your DIET

Better advice than PHs imo. A correct diet , good ammounts of rest , and a solid training plan is all you need. Supplements will help along the way sure , but without this main skeleton , supplements wont be able to contribute much at all.

this is just my opinion, but i dont think a person who only trains 3 times per week takes their training seriously enough to use steroids to enhance their performance.

they are just wasting the steroids.

even not on steroids, if i tried to train only 3 times per week, i'd be in the gym for hours.

Thanks for the replies. The diet thing has been a sticking point for me...I eat pretty clean most days, but that wife of mine buys a bunch of frozen, fatty foods and it kills me! Any suggestions aside from Whey Isolate and tons of chicken? Thanks again!

you should begin researching about supplements, and start spending ALOT and i mean ALOT more time in the supplement/training section.

if you really want to learn about steroids though, you should pick up a copy of william llewellyns anabolics 10th edition, and read it. the whole thing.

Suggestions? I'm open to suggestions, but just telling me I'm not doing enough won't help me or anyone else. If I only have time for 3 damn good workouts a week (school, jobs <-- plural!, wife, child), do you have any thoughts to make it the most productive. Remember, I said I'm a newb and y'all are the seasoned vets. Thanks
