Gas Prices as of 10/8/08

$2.90 !!! (and i think thats cheap!?!?!?!) it was some thing like $1.50 when I started driving!

haha Chad got banned a while back! we are back on the East Coast now! baby otter number 2 came and is almost 5 months old. wow it has been a while since we have been on huh? 2.67 today for gas!

Lets say you Americans are paying $3.00USD for a gallon (3.78 liters)

We Aussies are paying $1.40AUD per liter.

Which works out to be $5.29AUD per gallon.

But 5.29AUD works out to be $3.6USD

I always thought we had it heaps worse, but it doesn't seem that bad now.

If the poms are paying $1.00GBP per liter, then thats $3.78GBP per Gallon.
Which works out to be $6.27USD per gallon.

So to recap.
Americans pay $3.00USD per gallon
Australians pay $3.6USD per gallon
Poms pay $6.27USD per gallon

wow... i didn't know gas was that cheap anywhere in the US... I'm paying at lest 50% more in the bay area

Wow..that sucks. Price just went down and holding steady at $2.02. I filled up yesterday at $1.99 cuz the cashier used the gas card for me. :dance:

filled up today and paid 2.47 gallon

i never thought i'd see this, prices are dropping very well in my area.

so much so, that today on a saturday i saw a price drop in the afternoon for 6cents... on a weekend!

$3:17 -> $3.11

Gas as been holding steady at $1.93 here. Everywhere else it's $2.05 and up. We seem to have the lowest gas in the country according to our newspaper.
