So I actually got an XBOX 360 like 4 years ago, and just recently took it out of the box for the first time haha.

What are some classic games for the 360 you guys would recommend that I should pick up or familiarize myself with?

Gears of War
Halo (1/2 for me)
Fallout 3
Fallout New Vegas
Rainbow 6: Vegas
Call of Duty (whichever look most appealing to you)

I'm a FPS guy... Lol

I would swoop that deal yesterday. Between Uncharted, Fallout, Star Wars and Rainbow 6 I'd have all the games I needed for at LEAST a year or two.

Oops, made a small mistake. USD to NZD goes up, so 600NZD is actually 390USD lol. That's not so bad. But a dollar is a dollar no matter the country and 600+ for a console is insane.

In saying that, I'm about to pick up a fallout 4 uncharted combo :D
 
I'm going to wait till black friday to pickup Fallout 4 and Witcher 3. That should keep my busy all winter. Still trying to finish Arkham Knight right now.
 
The charging block is for the controller. And yea that is a slightly better deal those blocks are cheep. Now if you have a best buy card that's solid with the 5% back :)

I have charging dock, works great.

1% Cash Back through Ebates as well. I know it's only $3.50 but it adds up.

You can stack Best Buy 5% and Ebates 1%

I'll have to figure out how to do that tomorrow or Saturday. Hopefully that deal is still up. I've been looking and it seems like Black Friday deals are just going to be Uncharted for $299. That Best Buy deal is $50 more, but you get an additional game and the charging dock.

I figured it out I think. Going to place the order now before I start getting ready for bed. This sale ends tonight. I really do not think there will be a better deal out there.

And that's a brand spanking new game that retails for 50 bucks so check out to see if you will be into fallout. Cuz I played the uncharted series when it was fresh on ps3 and I am going back to play the remastered version. Right now and am having just as much fun as I originally had. They are such great games
 
I bought it last night and then called this morning and canceled it. It was going to be an impulsive buy that would have kept me occupied through Christmas break. Sure, I would get some use out of it during summer vacation, but once I go back for my master's, it would just collect dust.

I think I made that decision because I just started my first real job, teaching, as well. Now, I have a hell of a larger income than before. I was talking with another teacher that is in the same position as me and her and I were discussing how we think of all the different things we want to buy now!

One thing I may purchase for myself though is a deep tissue massage

This thread has got me wanting to buy a PS4 now. As if I don't feel enough pressure on here to buy supplements, now I feel obligated to buy a PS4. Thanks everyone

Give in. I'm waiting for the holiday deals simply because I don't have the time to start any games right now or I would have bought one last week when Fallout 4 was released.

In our apartment when I'm not home. He is not supposed to, but I've caught him when I've come home from work early. Not only that, but his idea of smoking outside is standing in the doorway with the door open and smoking right there. He isn't supposed to smoke in the apartment.

Yes metal gear solid . I've played em all! Same with final Fantasy and dragon warrior haha ... butttttt mgs 5 is supposed to be better than the rest of them . Ive watched all the trailers atleast 5 times.
 
I think I talked the gf into a joint xmas venture on an Xbox One, Grabbing Fallout 4 and Destiny with it
 
New Metal Gear is great, there is SOOOO much to do it's insane

I just picked up Witcher 3 and Mad Max (both $25 at target) and I can see why people were somewhat anti Mad Max. The game is beautiful, storyline is awesome, but its repetitive as hell. Go here, go there, fight this guy (same fights all the time)

But its not bad. If you enjoyed the Batman series you'll enjoy Mad Max

Definitely getting ps4 soon . So many new titles. Gta6 is looking sexy as f . All previous maps jammed into one.

I know a few places (Sam's club even) was doing a PS4 deal where you get the system PLUS the entire Uncharted series for like $250

Also now that they ALSO announced backwards compatibility, its another good system to get
 
Fallout 4 is the best title out right now IMO. My eyes were considerably red the first time I played it... and no I wasn't smoking pot lol.
