Forum War

The nonsense needs to stop. We all hate 3 page ads in popular magazines promoting nano technology, so why do it here? Does anyone realize that the new magazine is a search engine? Want to know about muscles, don't find the most knowledgeable article but the most clicked. Want to know about dieting, you'll find the site that pays the most. Want to find anything and you are more likely to get the furthest from the truth.

STOP POSTING BULL!
Why? your comments intrigue people and people become dumber. Why is this? This is because people read what you say and take it to heart. Is this the peoples' fault? NO, we all fail because this affects everyone. We end up debating some bro-logic posted on some forum by someone who appears to have knowledge or is over 300lbs of muscle.

Don't bring on some gangwar fight because your "bro" posted some terrible logic and now you and the iceman need to come together and fight. This is not good for anyone. Post up some logic, get things right, and don't just decide that you need to be the hero. What's funny is most people know that wikipedia is an editable site with some halfa$$ed information, yet people use this info on their term paper. Funny? No, because people find this information and decide it's true. Then, gain a following based on their horrible knowledge base.
END RANT.

Take this as you choose, but seriously it's time to get a clue!

It's not as easy to regulate like that. It's going to always be around in some form or another, probably in mass quantities.

WHAT ?

Isn't that why there are Moderators.......

My reply to OP, which you may not approve of, is if you don't like a forum then you have the right to choose not to read it.
An open forum is by it's very nature going to have respones from a multitude of different personalities and therefore perspectives, some of them may agree with your's and other, as it seems, can offend. I see your perspective and agree a little. It can get frustrating sifting through the many post's in search of true and accurate data/info regarding supplements trying to avoid all the soap opera posts, which can often be entertaining.

The fact is every couple of years there is a whole new generation of board members so its an impossible task.

The possible task is to take time to contribute positive information...from there its up to the reader to pick and choose what to believe and what to go by. Consider 1 out of 20 a good ratio on a forum compared to .002 out of 20 elsewhere.

I get this all the time, they say war war war...then they leave me alone and end up on bullying smaller weaker countries such as Libya.

Haha, I can't tell if you are genuinely funny or need psychological help. Either way this post made me laugh!

Yes, most clicked is right since that normally generates the money. Why else would 90% of the websites exist.

I've been saying this all along. You've got probably 95%+ of the people here who have absolutely NO experience with the compounds and/or training techniques that they whole-heartedly endorse and recommend to others. Even going so far as to recommend dosing schedules and whatnot. They just read something on one forum and repeat it verbatim on another as if they came up with it themselves. It's actually quite amusing to hear what some foolish people say, and that's why I stick around!

And the funniest sh*t in my opinion is the people who post pics of huge, muscular physiques of other people they found on the internet, acting as if it's theirs!!

my pic is my own, it took me awhile to get comfortable even posting pics of my body online, but i see what you are saying.
i dont want to be ignorant to people who have a solid understanding of body mechanics, but if you are 150lbs and telling people how to get huge, it seems to be quite a contradiction

Bruce Lee was 125 pound bodybuilder, and one of the most influential bodybuilders of all time. Lee Haney idolized and was inspired by this 125 pound beast.

I agree. I count myself among the 95% who are still in the learning phase, which is why I'd never dare dream of offering anyone training advice. I defer to some of the older guys who are science driven, educated in that field and/or have a lot of general training experience, rather than some 23 year old kid (no offense).

bodybuilder?
he was a martial artist and a freak in the gym when it came to all of the work he did, but was unaware he was a bodybuilder

Yes he was, he was buying bodybuilding magazines and books, running bodybuilding routines and diet (blended raw meat and drank it.)

He was on camera well aware of his look...he wasnt officially a bodybuilder, but he certainly was a bodybuilder.

but if you are 150lbs and telling people how to get huge, it seems to be quite a contradiction

Having a six pack does not automatically qualify you to give diet advice or even mean you have an understanding of nutrition and being able to deadlift or bench big numbers does not qualify you to design workout programs, train individuals or give you an understanding of body mechanics. If you feel a persons physique and/or strength somehow gives them creditability then you sir have more problems then this board does. This is a VERY naive and childish view to have

Good posting!

Considering all the people that are providing the research that we reference so dearly is being generated and written by scrawny lab geeks who could slap around this whole forum as a collective like a little whiny bitch with their knowledge. If abs meant knowledge, then you must be enjoying your protein infused vodka from the situation.

YOU SIR NEED TO READ.
I stated prior to the small excerpt you grabbed that I'm not ignorant, I will listen to what the 150lb-er would have to say.
What I was getting at was that, if you are 150lbs, and are still 150lbs after years of training your goal and experience do not seem to show that you want to get huge, be huge, etc.
Knowledge is necessary, experience helps your cause.
