Forskolin strong smell?

I picked up some Forskolin (20%) from SP, just opened it up and -- DAYUM -- it has a very strong smell -- kind of like a tobacco shop. I've had bulk forskolin from nutra when they still carried it and it didn't have much of a smell at all.

Can anyone tell me if this is normal for this product?
 
Yeah, decently strong smelling and sticky.

This isn't sticky at all like I'm familiar with.. it's finely powdered. still all good?
 
I used the NP branded before, I actually bought lots before they stopped carrying it. It was more powdery than the one you mention but yeah it has a strong odor, I handled a cap earlier and I can still smell it on my fingers.
 
yea it should definitly have that sort of strong smell, and as Dsade said it should be a little sticky as well. Let us know.
 
def got a strong smell.. however, not sticky.. it just feels like powder if i take a pinch of it between my fingers.
