My first tip from the Datbtrue boards is to learn all you can about the Datbtrue Swell Drink with Leucine that is going to be sipped during working out.

Explain how that works :p All the reads I have done, point for Leucine to be either PWO around 1hour to 2hours before workout to stimulate the mTOR pathway OR Post workout in HIGH levels to cause an insulin spike to help maximize the absorption of the PWO Meal.

so is wendler 5/3/1, but we dont go to a well respected loggers log and tell him he is all wrong cause he does gvt or 5x5

i do to follow datbtrue, god he is. No Arnold, wendler, cutler nor Cutler. proven pages to many to go over. your lifting self, i musr save
 
I t goes with the program from Conwict on the Datbtrue site that has much more pages then I can take time for. It is all there on the site. I am tring to help and trac the progress for me aginst these on this one. Its not cult or somesuch just proven Science, Datbtrue only has peer reviewed journals to back up his protacols.

exactly why i said this dude.. i understand im learning spanish so id be the same way! you just need to understand datbtrue isnt perfect and there is other ways of lifting correctly and makimg huge gains reply to my private message

No creo que estes aprendiendo espanol de la manera correcta Beny, la mayoria de los profesores de espanol en este pais no estan calificados para dar clases de un idioma tan complejo como el mio ;). Si quieres te doy clases hermano, para que ya no batalles con el idioma ;).

I've just never regarded anyone so highly, its not my style. I'm more of one man wolfpack, I've picked bits and pieces of several training styles and developed my own way of training, and it works great for me.

Amen to that bro...Its the only way to live IMO...I have my bro's (you included) and I love em...but in the end, I am used to doing things myself and expecting everything only from myself and no one else.

Exactly and we both know its more nutrition then the actual training.

Hence I have blamed my lack of definition in my nutrition and not on Wendler 5/3/1 but...then again I might switch around my 5/3/1 :p! I do need to switch it up a bit since my Bench has Flat Lined Plateaued :p and at 140lbs , 185lbs for bench max is NOT acceptable.

4-12 weeks depending on time if year, supplementation, vacations, events, etc.

As I age, (lol I'm 24 in a month) I realize that less is more. You don't need to abuse your body. In fact, you can't. As a beginner, sure u can go out n lift and run 6-7 days a week- but donthat for 4-5 years... Your body will let u know exactly what it thinks about that unless u start juicing lol. I would say a deload (light weights/not to failure) is needed and beneficial every 4th week. A complete off week should be taken every 8th to 12th week. Plan accordingly! Use the off weeks to get lots of errands done, go on vaca, etc.. Example:
Week1-3 full on
Week 4-deload
Week 5-7 - full on
Week 8 off or deload
Week9-11 full on
Week 12 off or deload
When u go off for a week completely, you reset the cycle... So you shoul be able to go 6-8 weeks before another full off week is needed.

This is how I view it personally and am going to start living by.

I enjoy my cardio :D!

Idk...I follow 5/3/1 so its:

-3 weeks going up in weight.
-1 week deload.
-Reset with higher weight.

And just cycle over and over.

Thanks guys, I have been doing my deload about every 12weeks... but that might explain why I feel so worn out at times...

Monday, OH Press day:

Main lift:
OH 5/3/1

Assistance:

Shoulders: Dumbbell Seated Press or Upright Rows.

Back: Weighted Chin Ups/Hammer Ups/ Pull ups.

Triceps: CGBP or Tri's Pushdown.

Tuesday, Deadlift Day:


Main Lift:
Deadlift 5/3/1

Assistance:

Hamstrings: Prone Leg Curl

Quads: Front Squats or Leg Presses

Abs: Hanging Leg Raises (Weighted or to Failure)

Thursday, Bench Press:

Main Lift:

Bench 5/3/1

Assistance:

Chest: Weighted Dips.

Back: Bent Over Single Arm Rows (Kroc Rows) or Bent Over Barbell Row.

Triceps: CGBP or Triceps Pushdown.

Friday, Squat Day:

Main Lift:
Squat 5/3/1

Assistance:

Hams: Romanian Deadlifts

Quads: Front Squats or Leg Press

Abs: Weighted Sit ups.

All assistance workouts consist of 5 sets of 10-20 reps each.

So what do you think?

So when i first started my max was 185 so i did the 180 one to be safe. i did 90/8 ( 90lbs for 8 reps) 105/6 120/4 135/3 150/2 165/1 and 120/4. i moved up after i get i good two times. Today i did the one for "300 max" 210/8 225/6 240/4 255/3 270/2 285/1 and 240/4... is that good bud

I could swap out the 5/3/1 day for bench and switch it for that if I am still plateauing haha, sounds good bubba!
 
anytime bud.. brought my bench up atleast 105lbs in 6 months, i platuea twice only for a week each.. google "buckeye routine" there are like 30 results with the chart of numbers.. I recondmend starting with the same one i did!!

Cel- It is diconcerting that your log is buried. For now you should halt all the threads and have teh whole site focus on this one thread as I can not reach all the people on this forum and answer everyones questions abouth the Datbtrue reasearch to each person indidually. It would be nearly impossible. As i have hundreds of PMs in my inbox from last night I can not anwer them all individually and still keep up with the new reasearch Datbtrue has comming out on the daily. I appoligive in advance to all those who left me notifications last night and this morning for not getting back to you. So please tell your memeber on theis site only to ask me questions though this thread as it will be easier for me than to PM all these people back.

I've thought about it being someone trolling me...Somehow I wanna doubt that haha. Who would go through the trouble of making a fake account and doing this? I mean...I only know of one person who would take all that time and trouble out of pure hate haha and well...that person is not even a member of this forums and she is getting married :p so I don't think I know someone else who would see me as important a person in their lives to do this.

It does not matter if it is real the point is I simply can not get to these people and am sorry but I don't have teh time. I am happy to help when i can but as I say there are too many threads all going on this site here. Datbtrue only has one thread going at a time with less confusion this is what i am accustomed to.

i dont care about how you talk bud.. thats no big deal at all.. i am just amazed at this entire situation and how you just take over cels log with the idea of information (none yet though) about an internet lifting guru i have research recently that has a few good ideas every once in a while. Yes, i did pm because i wanted to have you supply information about the lifting routine you are recondmending so much because i like to believe the best in people
