Follidrone log

So today I did some nice stretches and heard a good pop- now it doesn't hurt nearly as bad. I must have just tweaked something, which is good because tomorrow is legs again.

So, nothing of note today as I was right on par with the reps/strength I had before this log as far as the gym is concerned. However, I am now weighing 209. That is a full 3lbs in 10 days with the exact same diet I have run for the last 3 months. Plus, I am very much noticeably bigger. I am a heavy 205er and walk around looking 220, but I catch myself walking past a mirror taking a second glance. Lame, I know. But there is something going on.

Nope I ran the same:

95 x 10
135 x 10
185 x 6
205 x 4
225 x 2.5 ( I really didn't have much left to go up any and failed half way on the push)
185 x 7
135 x 8

Everything felt fine and I got a typical great workout in, but didn't have anything extra to push more. I honestly am thinking that I need to force a break in and even though my body says do more, my recovery isn't happening at the same pace. Keep in mind that I have been in the gym pushing big weight for 8 of the last 10 days. Oh, did I mention I will be 40 on Friday? :)

The big 40:cheers: congrats!!

40 is the new 30! Youngster!

I've decided to test out the endurance of this run and do the 185 rep squat routine posted on the home page tomorrow. I never go near those rep ranges, so it will be interesting.

As someone who normally is always <50 reps per lift, this absolutely killed me. I have gone through GVT plenty of times, but never at this weight for this # of reps. I do feel that the FD helped tremendously in this effort today.

Squats:

20-30 sec rest between sets
1 x 30 @ 115
1 x 20 @ 115
5 x 15 @ 185
1 x 30 @ 135
1 x 30 @ 115

Leg press

20-30 sec rest between sets
10 x 20 @ 270

RDL

5 x 15 @ 135

...by now my legs were shaking and felt like my quads were going to give out. I decided to go for some calf work and literally turned to jello. :) I don't know if I have ever worked a 460 rep set doing compound moves. I feel like I want a nap now.

Fuark dude

Damn thats alot of sets.
I train using a modified Doggcrapp program. I never get above 20 reps. and rarely perform more than 4-5 work sets.

I never get above 12-15 and that is only for my warm up. All working sets are in the 4-7 range, so this was a shock to the system.

That's crazy! How sore are you going to be?!

That workout is a good test for Follidrone isn't it? If you don't have super DOMS then I'm buying a case of Follidrone! Nice work brother! Whew!

We'll see how tomorrow goes. I feel really good right now. Working from home and just mowed my 1/2 acre lawn, so there was still something left even though I couldn't push any more weight.

Oh man, the DOMS have begun. I feel like I am coming down with the flu and that is always the first sign of a miserable next couple days. Legs are super tight and my core is killing me. I am thinking a nice massage may be in order tomorrow.

Shady Massage Parlor>Vitamin C :D

Happy Birthday kisaj may your best day afore 40 be on par with the worst thereafter

Thanks guys! So I woke this morning actually feeling pretty damn good. I used a trick my buddy who competes in endurance events all the time gave me- good old tart cherry juice. Drank a glass last night about an hour before bed and I feel about 50% better than I did before bed.

Oh, and 209.5 today.

I swear, this is really odd. No dietary changes, upping gym intensity, and gaining weight. At this rate, I will gain around 8lbs in a month. Looking cut and vascular, so this isn't turning to fat or going to my midsection.

Wow. Maybe it's actual muscle mass! :D

The longer these logs are running the better this is sounding.
Several logs are living up to Brundel's initial claims.
Even if a herbal supplement did 1/4 of this in this time frame it would be worth it.

Looking forward to testing this myself.

Well, I have been doing this a very long time and that would be crazy. I just don't understand what would be causing the gain and where it is stored. I mean, visibly I am bigger than I was 12 days ago, but there is no puffiness or softness that I would get on a bulk.

Not complaining, just sharing.:)

indeed it's looking more and more likely we are seeing the end of aas use as we know it in favour of Folli now upon the scene

I started my log at 198 and I'm up to 203 this morning. I don't think it's a fluke.

Sounds awesome guys. Really looking forward to see what happens after this is done. It'll be awesome if you guys can maintain those gains after using the product.

the product has been out less than a month and is ranked like number 5 of thousands on NP goes to show you don't need 40 company reps to move merchandise, you have product working for folks plus one person active on the forum and passionate about their belief in what they produce ~ voilà

Happy B-day.

If you've not tried it, Vitacost also carries tart cherry extract capsules - just a well-intended FYI.

Thanks Beau. I just went to the grocery and picked up more juice. I like the taste of it and now I can mix my BCAA and citrulline in with it.

This week will be testing for max on my big lifts. I want to see where we are half way through the run. Today is going to be squats.

Well, I continue to be baffled by this product. It is very interesting to me, though. I weighed in at 211 this morning and have leaned up in the midsection. My wife told me I looked skinny after adding 5lbs in 15 days. :) Strength did not go up, but again, so much left in the last parts of the lifts that I am adding reps.

Today
Weight 211.1

Squats
135 x 15
225 x 5
315 x 5
405 x 5
455 x 3
495 x 1
315 x 12
315 x 10
225 x 10
135 x 7

RDL
135 x 12
185 x 10
235 x 8
255 x 6
185 x 10
135 x 12

Seated calf
5 @ 5 plates x 15

Sliding ham curls
5 x 15

Jumped rope
5 x 1min

Lots of guys are seeing increased reps and sets. This is strength its just odd the way its displayed. Basically its slowly climbing.
For example, if you get 12 reps week 1 and week 4 your getting 16 reps this is significant strength increase.
I usually stick to the 15-20 rep range and when I can get 20 reps I add weight.

There are 3-4 guys who are seeing significant weight numbers going up as well. Im unsure what the deciding factor is.

These aesthetic changes are boggling I can't wait to try this.

With no dietary changes makes it very odd and impressive.

Wondering if the extra endurance and intensity is creating more caloric expenditure, or if it somehow effects fat redeposition.
On top of climbing weight that is unheard of.

Maybe a GDA-like effect with vastly improved nutrient shuttling to muscle vs. fat deposits

All great points and what I have been looking into. Unfortunately, there isn't a ton of data out there that I can find to help substantiate the outcome I am finding. I agree on the composition changes likely happening by working in a higher volume range and increased time under tension. The weight thing is what is throwing me off because I am no doubt bigger than I was 2 weeks ago, but it can't be 5lbs of muscle. So where is it going??

Yep, I stated my point wrong. I was referring more to top end 1RM strength, not general. The strength increase is more of an overall fitness level. Obviously my cardiovascular has gone up and the fact that we can recover in a short amount of time equates to increased strength as well.

This is on some Versa-1 hype up in here...but I'm hooked.

Man, I felt freaking incredible today. Had several regulars at the gym ask what I have changed up because they noticed I rarely take any rest breaks and I am looking like I am training for something. I knew this **** wasn't just in my head by looking in the mirror. There is a definite separation and thickness happening.

Weighed in at 210.8 today so the first day I have gone down a hair. Basically no change.

I wonder if that is a sign of things leveling off... Still really impressive so far though.

I'm not sure since it has only been one day without an increase, but I am more than ok with it. I figured something really weird would be happening to keep within the same caloric and macro range and continue to gain weight.

It's always encouraging when other people notice.

I was doing some reading up on Betaine and I came across a post that ZiR RED posted about the weight and size gain people were seeing and I wonder if it could be similar here.

"Initial weight and volume gain is in the first 2 weeks due to cellular swelling.
Over time, that cellular swelling yields improved mechanical output, crossbridge cycling, and protein synthesis, which should yield more myofibril proteins (muscle gain irrespective of water increases).
There are no receptors to be down regulated, and you get some in your diet, so I would think you could keep using it. "

Exactly why I am stacking TMG with my Follidrone. And Anabeta.

Natty stack to the max

Once my follidrone gets here

What has been your experience with TMG so far?

TBH I don't know my thoughts on it yet. 2 weeks in.

Not really any performance benefits to note but I will vouch for the cellular swelling effects. Even when carb depleted I am appearing more "full"

I hope that will translate into permanent benefits either for strength or hypertrophy but too soon to tell
