Follidrone 2.0 Log - FEMALE

paul56778 I will be using Radiate for my fat burning supp. What about drinking that during my fasted? Never heard of vitamin c powder.... hmmm. And does powerade zero work during fasted? What about coffee with stevia? Sorry for all the questions.

i feel like things aren't "moving as smoothly" myself these days, but nothing I can't deal with. Definitely way worse from DAA, but I see what you're saying

My first dosing is coming up, I might just try eating and then taking my first dose and see how today goes. Hopefully brundel can let me know if this is normal, may have to take a week off to see if its the FD2.

Do you use anything for GI health? The kimchi may help a bit, I eat it myself as well as drinking kombucha.

I also take 2 tbsp psyllium husk with lunch daily, I think that helps alleviate some symptoms. I may kick a second dose in to see if that gets rid of the constipation all together

I do take chewable digestive enzymes the papaya ones. Thats about it tho... Oh I am not constipated at all, its just really bad stomach cramps and almost get a fever (similar to my reaction when I eat Tilapia - which I am allergic too)

gotcha! Okay, maybe my Gi symptoms are a little different. Hope it works out!

I take a women's multi vitamin and extra vitamin c everyday, I hardly ever get sick :) does this suffice?

thanks for all the recommendations on the Kimichi - will have to try this!

Yah should suffice.
We will have a really solid all inclusive vitamin shortly ;)

brundel question about FD2. I was wondering if I need to take two weeks off to see if taking my doses are messing with my GI. Every day this week (Monday-Wednesday) my stomach feels on edge. I take my second dose at 4pm and eat within 30 minutes. About 1 hour after eating my stomach is cramping, I feel super cold, I have to curl up on the chair, and I am running to the bathroom feeling like I have to go and sometimes I do sometimes I don't. It has been really hard to get my calories in because I feel like **** for about 2-3 hours after dinner. I noticed yesterday when I took my first dose at 11am and ate around 11:30, about 12:30 I noticed that my stomach was still a bit weezy. Just not feeling well.

Should I wait to take my dose after meals or during? Should I take a day off or does that not matter since it will be in my system?

I take my doses at 11a, 4p, 8p and in the mornings I feel fine until after I eat. Anyone else notice this with FD2? I thought I had some food tolerances but I have been eating the same foods for the last few months and it just started in the last month and now this week its been everyday.

Try eating first.
The absorption package can cause some stomach discomfort. The cold thing sounds like hypoglycemia. Common with FD2.
Try eating first this way glucose is elevated. And only take the FD2 with carb meals if possible. To try to alleviate the hypo symptoms.

Is this the similar to the label on powerade zero: Ingredients: Water, Citric Acid, Acidity Regulator (Sodium Citrate), Sweeteners (Sucralose, Acesulfame K), Natural Flavourings, Colour (Brilliant Blue), Vitamin B6.,

Some have stated that sweeteners can have an impact on blood glucose levels, but i have used sucralose in the past when dieting from a low calorie / sugar free drink like you have stated and been fine so it should be ok, i am interested in trying out radiate because bloodshr3d raw has been very strong and giving me bad sides lately.

If you need the sweeteners then add them in, stevia should also be fine, it is just things like sugar alcohols to watch out for e.g. sorbitol, mannitol, xylitol, isomalt

I did that yesterday and it worked well. I also took one wafer of acidophilus and that seemed to do wonders!

I do fast 16/8 still and sometime I consume almost 150- 200g of carbs from 5p-8p so do you think taking two at once would be OK?

Perfect, so your saying powerade zero is OK, stay away from BCAA's until breaking fast if I need them?

I just read the article on here and it says if you consume 1.5g per kg of body weight which comes out to be 95g of protein a day (I consume about 150g) then you don't need BCAA's.

I love radiate but my boyfriend tried it and he felt funny but could he isn't use to any stims since he doesn't take any supps.

brundel I tried not taking a dose of FD2 Saturday and still had stomach issues. Could this possible be a stomach ulcer? Exact same symptoms. Does FD2 have anything in it that could cause a stomach ulcer (note I have always had acid reflex, so not saying its the FD2 that caused it but it might have heightened my stomach problems)

I have had ulcers in the past that flare up. I have never had a flare up on FD2. I run it 12 weeks at a time. This is just me though.

mine don't seem to come only right after a dose. I sometimes wake up feeling uneasy even though I dose in the morning/afternoon. It reminds me a little bit of the way that D-Aspartic Acid makes me feel, but DAA is way worse.

Hoping my issues fade and don't get worse over time as yours have seemed to....feel better!

Hhmmm. Stomach flare ups and you have a nut allergy huh. Ever tried FD 2.0 with applesauce or a yogurt?

This is somewhat of a wild guess - but what are you taking in as far as calcium, magnesium, salt amd potassium? Are you limiting salt? Eat lots of salt. Don't believe the hype.

Many people are magnesium deficient also. It is worth supplementing with... Take a bunch for a couple days and then drop back. It will really help with sleeping/anxiety if you have any issues there.

Right... And I do sometimes take with yogurt but only my first dose since I eat yogurt during breakfast hours. I notice things like grapefruit, pineapple makes my stomach worse which is why I think it might me a stomach ulcer. Also if I take tums it helps make it feel better...duhhh LOL

I add salt to most foods especially my chicken and veggies, potassium is pretty low. I currently take Melatonin every night, whoops! I can try the magnesium, how much per day?

FD2's stomach stuff is related to hypoglycemia which causes dizziness, nausea, hot flashes, cold sweats etc. This is of course when it gets bad and it can be mitigated with carbs.
In your case this doesnt sound related. I think perhaps something else is happening. Many times the diets we eat as physique athletes can be really acidic which isnt helpful for someone with acid issues.
My suggestion is to work on dialing in an alkaline diet. Ive had to do this myself.
Lots of alkaline foods.
9.5 alkaline water. Not the bottled store stuff because this is made alkaline with bicarbonates which can for some (including me) cause other stomach issues.
Ive switched to Pea and hemp protein for some of my protein requirements as lots of protein sources are acidic. Pea is not.

I know some argue that dietary alkaline/acid sources dont make any difference but I disagree. And, Ive seen a vast improvement in my acid reflux and stomach issues since changing these things. I used to have to take an antiacid daily. Now I havnt taken on in probably a year.

Do you eat a lot of spinach and broccoli? What about calcium sources? I would add magnesium and potassium for sure and potentially some calcium (taken away from the magnesium) See if things clear up a little. If you have an imbalance of electrolytes will cause all kinds of issues that seem unrelated to electrolytes. Muscle cramps, nausea, stomach issues, dizziness, and even delirium can result from these minerals being too high or too low.

I notice is a lot my first meal and its always carbs with some protein and then I will either have grapefruit or pineapple (fruit is probably the problem) I do not eat a lot of broccoli or spinach mostly zucchini and asparagus. I read up on stomach ulcers and it says to try Vitamin E oil, so I will be supplementing with that otherwise i think the doctor is the best way to go, darn stomach. I dont even feel like eating ever! More like a burning pain in my stomach and want to crouch down. So once I start my cut next week that will for sure help but I really want to up my cals this last week ..... smh.

I know certain fruits like grapefruit and even apples will tear my stomach up.

I worries me because it just starting happening, not sure if I formed a stomach ulcer...

Looking good :)

Will be following to see how cut goes, you have had a great lean bulk therefore the cutting process should be much easier, slow and steady is always best to ensure as much LBM is preserved whilst max fat mass is lost.

paul56778 thanks much. your insight is always much appreciated. With that said, struggling where I should start my calories at. I have 60 days.

Currently at 2,300 - two days a week I have rest days and consume 1,800.

So I was thinking 1,900 on active days (5 days), and then 1,700 on my 2 rest days.

Will be taking FD2 and Radiate.

How long are you going to cut for? What's your short term and long term goal weight?

Cutting for 9 weeks until I go on vacation or reach the body fat desired. No goal weight just basing off what I see in the mirror.

Any news on the stomach issues - looking forward to the fd2/radiate combo log - hope you're feeling well and g2g....

Sorry I am not on here as much lately, so my responses may be kind of broken up. How did things go at the doctors with your stomach?

When you have issues, is it mostly in the morning after breakfast/Follidrone? Or anytime you have the Follidrone? Have you recently changed your coffee beans/source? I.e. - maybe you made it at home and got a new bean or you got it from Starbucks and now get Dunkin Donuts, etc.??? I ask because the chlorogenic acid in coffee can upset your stomach, and some brands have much higher levels of CA than others. CA will also drop blood sugar, potentially, which may make the blood sugar reduction from Follidrone more pronounced.

Legs look good. Def much improved on this bulk.
Diet looks ok for the most part.
My only thought is its pretty acidic which can cause havoc in the GI tract and stuff like ulcers in the stomach from too much acid buildup. And, if your having stomach issues I would cut out any milk products. This includes Whey and casein. Lots of good alternatives though. Its really hard to alter a bodybuilding diet to be alkaline but it works wonders for the stomach and GI tract. Since I have made the switch all of my stomach stuff has disappeared.
I do mostly raw fish, egg whites and plant based protein.
Carbs from ezekiel sprouted grains. The cinn raisin bread in the morn and I do the tortillas daytime and night. They are awesome baked crispy with a bit of olive oil on them. Tastes like wheat thins.
I try to eat nothing with sugar in it as an additive.
Also a good probiotic will go a long way to helping your digestive tract. As does stuff like Kimchi and Pickled veggies.

I actually ended up cancelling my doctor's appointment since my stomach issues have subsided for now. The last time I had grapefruit was a week ago so I am wondering if my stomach was getting a bit torn up from the acidic. Also could have been a flu bug going on too and I just didnt know it. I will keep you all updated if it comes back.

No it was almost after anytime I would eat. I noticed it if I didnt have enough carbs or something in my stomach coating it. I was thinking maybe stomach ulcer since I eat grapefruit every single day. Last time I had a grapefruit was a week ago.

I cancelled my doctors appointment since not more issues with my stomach. But paying very close attention to the things I am eating that could cause this. I do drink 16oz of coffee every morning during my fast but nothing new with the coffee.

What kind of probiotic do you recommend. Do you know how much protein powder I have in my house. Thankfully I only take one scoop a day. Since I have cut out grapefruit it has been a lot better. I also have been taking Vitamin E tablets before my first meal which has been helping. I am thinking I had a sore of some kind and now it has healed?

Love Kombucha
Kimchi
Pickled ginger I eat probably a fist size portion every day or 2. I eat ALOT of raw fish. 90% of my meat based protein is fish.
Some turkey and chicken as well.

Most people dont know that the gut is responsible for much more than just digesting your food. The intestinal flora and fauna are extremely important to overall health, wellbeing and even mood. Your immune system is gut related. Some people refer to it as our second brain because so many things are regulated there. Keeping it healthy is primary.
We have a probiotic in the works.
Should be ready in about 4 months and will launch with a handful of other more mainstream products.

Thank you for all of your thoughts on this. I plan on eating grapefruit (fingers crossed) today to see how my stomach handles again. I will be looking for Kimchi once I go to the store again!
