Trying to get better for sure all that sleep helped out a good bit. I hate when you get sick just as you are getting your groove on. One day out of the gym isn't going to kill me. Still going to go in and lift tomorrow even if not perfect. If I can go to work I can go to the gym. :)


Feel better, perhaps you'll sweat it out tomorrow.
 
Ok. So. Chest n shoulders. Flat Mach press. 3x10. Full stack was supposedly 330. Didn't feel like it. Incline bb bench. Keep going up till you can't do 6. 226x6 255x6 275x6 295x6 315x5+1 force rep Banded flat bench full lockout. 5x6@225 without band weight factored Dips. 2xfailure. I think first set was 40 something. Rear delt pec dec 35,30,25,20 Rear delt swings 3x20 Over and backs 3x10. Big set was 95x9 Side laterals. 3x10 Around 280p 77c 77f ATM. Need one more meal. Soon after I finish my shake. Last 2 sets of inclines were 100% PR. Never been that high in weight. Smashed it. The banded flats were tough as hell also.

I try to Simon. I was completely GF during my prep and when I added it back I feel horrible. Stuffy nose, minor aches, headache and bloated as all hell, so yeah I notice a huge difference :-)

Oh yeah I was gonna mention the GF thing. I bounce between paleo or do nothing but clean carbs from rice and taters. I eat white bread or anything else with loads of gluten I get bloated gassy and quite honestly I'm cranky.

Try it. You'll be amazed at how nice it is. Especially if you're intolerant.

I also put on fat easy with em tho so I lean on brown rice or sweet potatoes. Kinda done with bread. I eat it at restaurants but if I buy anything its wholegrain flats or wraps & mainly for the gf.
 
Interesting on the Gluten I have never tried it. I have been reading a lot about the inflammation from whole grains though. So I may have to look into it since heart disease runs in my family history and it seems that inflammation may be the major contributing factor to heart disease.

Lol I got 8lbs of russets.. Getting kinda tired of em... Look at reds. Real close GI to sweet potatoes.. Lil better than russets.


Right now I only eat bread on refeeds and it's Ezekiel. Gotta carb up somehow. Gotta find brown rice syrup.
 
I have never tried GF. But do notice actually that when i have too many carbs I tended to feel frustrated, headache and at times even itchy. So perhaps it would make a difference. Thanks guys.

Chicken can go to hell. I gag trying to eat it. I've eaten entirely too much. I ate like 18oz a day for a year. I just can't do it. My primary protein is venison and turkey. I've already eaten an entire deer. Shoulda shot everything that moved this fall...
 
Love me some ground turkey, & I hit 93% ground beef & steaks up weekly too. Turkey kielbasas, canned tuna & canned chicken breast if I get sloppy on keeping up with meal prep. I don't really worry about sodium, more the better. Pork & frozen fish I stay away from (don't care much for pork besides ham, bacon, & bfast sausage, which all have worthless macros except during an all-out bulk, & all the frozen tilapia & swai is full of more toxins than I care to ingest). But most wks I bake a few lbs of chicken breast & eat that for a couple days.

I never really was interested in hunting, but as much as guys around here love it I've actually thought about getting in on it just for the meat. LOVE venison. Feel free to mail me some.

Yeah we replaced all out sons good with GF stuff and holy hell he's like a new kiddo. No more runny nose, attitude is better etc etc. A bit more spendy but health is número uno.

Beast, I was the same way with chicken and learned to love it actually. For a while I ate it cold now I've found truly organic chicken tastes completely different. I also quit Copenhagen after 17 years and my taste buds completely changed. I eat chicken at least 3-5 times a day. I've found lately that dicing up jalepenos (fresh) tomatoes, and onions and throwing a bit of cheese on it is amazeballs :-)

I however cannot stand ground turkey. Wish I could but it has a horrid after taste lol. Love me some turkey bacon tho.

Going to try and start hunting this year as I love venison.
 
I may give this a shot I mean hey who doesn't love Sugar Smacks during a carb up isn't that rice cereal? I need to find somewhere that carries Cream of Rice or bite the bullet and order several boxes online. This mornings workout was proof to me that the Barbarian-FX Mass is kicking in for sure. I went from the 15-20 rep range to the 12-15 rep range but hit 15 on most of my lifts. Let's get into how it broke down! I should mention that the rest between warm ups was never more than 30 seconds.

Wide Neutral Grip Cable Rows - 105x15, 165x15, 195x15+5+5+5 last time I did 165x15 for my activation set... 30 lbs anyone? NEXT!

Wide Grip Pull Downs - 165x15, 195x15+5+5+5
no negs here was a bit to hard to be worrying about that. However again 165x15 last week 195x15 this week BOOM!!!! BIATCHEZ!

Wide Grip BB Curls - 60x15, 70x13+5+5+5 - Last week was 50x15 this week I started at 60 and went to 70 for 13, it just keeps getting better!

DB Hammer Curls - 30x12+5+5+5
this was brand new this week just added the in and no way I could have done them last week was to spent.

Rear Delt Machine - 80x15, 110x17+5+5+5 - These were pretty beast last week was 90x16, this week 110x17 +20 lbs and a rep!

I followed this up with some torture via Tabata on a spinning cycle then 15 minutes LISS on a stationary bike.

All in all I will say this workout shocked me considering I was sick the last two days. Heck I would have been impressed even if I hadn't. I am going to have to keep an eye on my biceps tendon here but I think we are going to see some serious gains in strength for the next 2.5 weeks!

Yesterdays macros were a little shy of what I wanted at 240 protein, 119 carbs, and 50 fats for a total of 1886 calories but considering I crawled out of bed around 1:00 I can't really complain much. Obviously the lower calories didn't hurt my strength!
 
Good lift for being sick my fellow balding friend.

Yeah quite an impressive jump. Not PR's or anything but the short rest periods in front of the work sets knocks strength down a bit so these are pretty impressive for me. That Tabata on the spinning bike was just down right ridiculous.

Oh yeah MY ABS ARE THRASHED!!!! I can't even flex them right now. Sitting up from my chair is painful, the draw bridges definitely worked!

I eat 16-20 oz a day. I absolutely love it.

I've only hunted twice this year and will be getting in one more weekend before this season ends. I'd love to bring home some venison as I haven't had it in a few years.

Off day today.

Took 1/3 scoop G8 last night and actually got to bed at a decent time (9pm) woke up in the sane position at 615 feeling great. Much needed rest.
 
I am with you on this one. I cannot eat ground turkey or chicken it just doesn't work for me.

I eat those two as my main source of protein however today I have had 19 oz of lean top sirloin steak throughout the day.

Light bulb! Wanna be diced for my boat this summer! Lol. Today's an off day. Tomorrow will be back. Meadows has it listed as "row-a-thon"... Sounds fun ::banghead::

That was 3 different sirloins. I bought a nice family pack last night and cooked them up to replace some of the anabolism from being sick nothing like lean red meat to do the trick.

I am so jelly of your stash now man!!! Wish I could!

I'm keeping my two high days at 300g of carbs and low days at 125ish for at least another week. My first move will be to slightly drop fats a bit (from 75 to 60-65).

I am running Xcel Sports Nutrition Barbarian-FX Mass I started out last Monday so 1.5 weeks in it has 25mg Halo, 25mg DMZ, 20mg Max-LMG, and 5mg M-Sten per cap at 2 caps per day so 50 Halo, 50 DMZ 40 M-LMG and 10 M-Sten a day also has their Carbopol which slows the release to make it more bio-available and less abusive to the liver since not smashing it all at once with the methyls. That is going to be the first 4 weeks of this run the last two weeks I will be running my bottle of Shredded Labs Triton. It is 10mg Epi, 200mg Stano, and 50mg 11-OXO per cap. I am contemplating starting it at the 4rth week if it is okay with the guys as Swoldiers then I would run 4-5 caps a day for 3 weeks otherwise I will be running it at 6 caps a day the last 2 weeks to rip the water off and reveal the work I have done.

For support I am taking LGI Damage Control which has the sexiest profile I have ever seen in a support supp for the money. I also have bulk TUDCA to increase the levels if needed but Damage Control already supplies over 400mg a day and also supplies 800mg of Sam-E which is great for the liver, joints, heart and mood. I started taking Enteric coated 81mg Aspirin the other day to combat some slight head pressure I was feeling assuming this was an increase in BP.

On a good note I got a nice compliment at the gym today one of the guys who hadn't seen me in a couple weeks to me I was leaning up and fast! I can tell you this the scale seems to have stopped at about 203 and I am getting bigger and bigger in the arms, chest shoulders and legs!!! I won't be surprised if I finish this thing out about 206 and lean as my goal. Muscle memory and anabolics... GOTTA LOVE THE COMBO!!!

Okay on to the workout today. Can you say big increases in weight again!!!!

Rep Range 12-15

HS Declines w/ Bands 0 45x15, 90x15, 135x2 too much > 115x13+5+5+3+2 =15 - Very nice increase here, last time was 70x20, this time 90x15 felt extremely easy I ended up doing an extra set due to this if I had jumped to the 115 before the 90 I know I would have crushed all 15 and then some.

HS Front Shoulder Press/ Super Incline w/ Bands - 35x15, 55x13+3+2 drop to 45+3+2+3+2 =16 - last week 35x19 this week 55x13 that is a 20 lbs increase and I warmed up with my high weight from last week! Myo reps were a bitch though I had to work my ass off to get them.

Close Grip Bench Press w/ Bands - 115x15+5+3+2+3+2+2 =15 - Holy Ish!!! Up 20 lbs and only lost 3 reps fro last week. These are tricky without a spotter than goodness the bands are pretty low tension at the bottom I had to put the bar on the low safety catch a few times and stand up upright row it to the top to do the next myo set.

Lying French Press / Skull Crusher - 75x15+5+5+5 this was pretty hard but going up next time. Oh yeah I just added this one in still concentrating on shoulders and arms more, and it is working I have to say looking in the mirror off to the side i was looking MASSIVE!!!!

MD Training Style Heavy Partial DB Side Raises - 50x35, 50x30, 50x25, 50x20
- Shoulder pump was stupid at this point hell I was just pumped up all over. Was NO BODY ENGLISH to get these done, my arms were sticking out on their own from the muscle trying to pull them up. I looked HUGE!

Sauna time for 10 minutes to get some water from the Max-LMG off of me. I decided to man up while I was in there and did a Tabata session! Body Weight Squats alternated with Push Ups was the method of destruction for this tabata session. I was sweating like a mutha fugga when I was done. Tonight I think I may do some LISS or HIIT, or whatever type of cardio I am in the mood for.

Now is the time for 2 a days some days. I know I have the recovery ability and no way I am going to be losing muscle mass so I will hit up a few 2 a days a week to ensure I am only a spectator for the Cross Dressing Dead Lift Videos.

Nice lift buddy! I'm kinda disappointed I missed out on the Damage Control. Great looking profile. Already ordered Cycle Assist and I have two bottles of TUDCA, 2 bottles of NAC and Liv52 DS.

Yeah that will take care of things for ya at least your liver for certain. TUDCA also helps wit lipids too.
 
Row-a-thon. Yeah my Lats grew Lats. Week 8 is sweet. Macros, a lot of carbs. Catered Italian food for lunch.
 
I just wanted to point out that pharm grade UDCA (which is more or less TUDCA sans the taurine group) has been clinically found to be most effective @ 900mg orally, e/d. It was superior to 300mg & 600mg doses, & 1200mg didn't produce improved conditions over 900. But effectiveness in treating/managing biliary cirrhosis increased in a dose-dependent fashion up thru the 900mg/day mark. No way TUDCA is going to be stronger than UDCA (although it doesn't appear to be horribly weaker), so 750-1000mg of TUDCA/day is probably the desired amount for full effect. I've noticed a difference between 750 & 1g, altho 1250 wasn't any different than 1k.

I think Damage Control is way better than Cycle Assist, but I'd run extra TUDCA on a heavy cycle (or more Damage Control).
