Fish Oils Worsening Skin Condition

Hello, one small problem I'm "facing": been taking fish oil for many years for general health, and they SEEM to worsen my facial appearance (skin looks more uneven), which goes against other peoples experience with fish oil. Anyone know the mechanism here?
I've read about too little vitamin E may be the issue, but I already take E in my multi, and sometimes a standalone vit E supplement.
Could fish oil interfere with my thyroid, to cause the problem?

Thanks in advance for input!

This is just a guess, is it possible that your fish oil is damaged?

another thing you stated that too little Vit. e maybe the issue, maybe the vit. e you are using isnt a complete vit. e, so maybe thats why it isnt do what you expect.

Could also be a GLA and the need to boost omega 9 levels

Are you taking anything else.I had a bad reaction to doxyxycline a few years ago and it really messed up my complexion for awhile.Witch Hazel applied externally works wonders if you can stand the smell.

might wanna look at your diet... fish oils arent known to cause acne....

if your eating all the major allergens and wondering why youre breaking out, that might be something to take a look at.... otherwise, idk what to suggest... good luck either way...

ps. dial soap

If consuming copious amounts of dairy, this could be a cause.

Yeah, I posted this topic because I'm aware it's NOT the common reaction you get from fish oil. I also take GLA, good point. And vit D.
I don't think the oil is damaged because it doesn't matter which brand I use.
Maybe I need a higher dose of vitamin E, and the whole E complex.

Or you could stop taking fish oils and get your omega 3's from other sources?... just sayin. I ran out of it a while ago now, used to take 5 grams a day. I honestly don't feel a difference.
