Finally into a routine

Hey All,

28 here, been trying to get back in shape for a couple of years and finally into a routine, eating healthy (Altho still need to up my calories a bit) and sprint riding at least 3 times a week for no less than an hour.

My endurance is way up, sleeping alot better, breathing better, fat is slowly melting away...

Haven't been taking any suppliments, just healthy diet, lots of water, etc...

Currently just focused on burning fat all over and I love biking, so sprinting on the bike is doing the trick. Will eventually start lifting, just to tone up, not looking to bulk up, just want to be lean and defined.

Recommendations on suppliments? Obviously creatine would be the first thing, what else? I don't want any stimulants, don't need anything for energy boost, just want to get the most of my routine without doing unhealthy things to my body.

I'd look into an amino acid complex such as Purple WRAATH or Xtend. Aminos are the building blocks of protein and taken pre/intra workout they will promote a healthy, natural recovery and endurance.

Congrats on the progress you've made :)

I agree with the posters above, definately look into getting some aminos. I would also recommend lifting now, doing just cardio for weight loss is a trap lol. I did that when I first started working out and when you've finally got the weight off underneath your just skinny and weak, and its alot harder to get that ripped look because of lack of muscle tissue. Incorporate weight training now, even if its only 2-3 times a week, this way when you get the weight off you will look fit and strong instead of malnurished lol.

I'm mostly holding off due to lack of room in the house, have a roomate that should be out by 1st of september and plan to make that the gym, was going to use my garage, but its about 130 degrees in there during the day, 100 at night, a bit warm.

I am still pretty muscular (for me), 6'5" 230#s, 34" waist and don't have an intentions on getting very big, just want to shed the fat and tone what I already have.

I'll try to squeeze in some P90X workouts or at least do some pushups, situps, etc until I have room for equipment.
