Finally an answer!!!!

Well at least i know i am not 100% crazy just 50%!!!!! :think:

Anyway the last few months have been weird, one sickness, injury after another right? Well today i find out why and oddly i am peaceful about it.....I have Lupus!!!!!! explains all the issues with my body, pains, and such.....Cure ohhh yeah there isent one......Not so happy with that!!!!!

Anyway recommendation, "go easy on your body, take up yoga or something not so strenuous on you"....that was my Dr...... :rant: But at least i know, half of me feeling crummy was I didn't know......Now i do
 
Well, I'm happy that you found out what's been bothering you. On the same token, I'm sorry to hear that it's Lupus. I have a close friend who has it. She has her good days and her bad days.

Hang in there, take care of yourself, and you're in my prayers.
 
Sorry to hear about your diagnosis. On a positive note though; my mother was diagnosed with it about 15 yrs ago. She's about 70 and still very active. She could probably still kick my ass if she really wanted to. Good luck, find a good understanding doc, and you can live a fulfilling long life.

I do yoga and I love it. I know it is not common among weight lifters but I think it is definitely beneficial for body health. Admittedly, I do a yoga routine directed towards strength and flexibility.

Whoa.....research a lot on this. We all know that doctors don't know EVERYTHING. I'm glad that you figured this out....but like Cuffs said...sad to hear of it. Of course you are in my thoughts as well WG. :D

No disrespect, he just annoyed me ( DR) cause he told me cut back on the gym, go easy on my body, stop lifting, take up yoga, water ballet, :blink: water ballet, I almost fell on the floor.......

So again no disrespect, size............

I know. I was just being positive displaying that some weightlifters do yoga and enjoy it.
 
Well at least you know WTF you're up against and that's worth a lot. I know you'll be able to cope with it and kick its ass when need be.

I also do yoga though not frequently enough lately. I'm all rigid now and walk around like a meathead, lol. After I end my cycle it's time to hit the mat.

It's seriously the bomb. I was skeptical when I first started but I have to say it is a truly miraculous practice. It's harder than most people think as well..takes skill, mega endurance, incredible strength to get really advanced. Best part is you'll burn bodyfat like crazy!

It heals, relaxes and energizes like nothing else. It just doesn't give me my vanity fix so I opt for lifting more often, lol. I love yogi-girls though..Yum!
 
I'm sorry, but if a Doc told me to quit doing something I love, I would tell him NO WAY! I know how you feel about this WG, I would just take it day to day.
 
Well your right on i do have to quit things.....and for now it has to be online, I need to deal with this and well, i am overwelmed.......So please everyone have a safe and happy holiday and perhaps one day when I get a handle on things i will be back...Until than...thanks for all the great advice, and all the encouragement......Means alot :)
